Al Dura Petition
The Mohammed Al Dura Case is considered by many the Father of all Fauxtography (fake journalism and photography). But unlike Reuters, the New York Times and others who have admitted their mistakes, France's Channel 2 has never released the "rushes" on which this short video of Israeli troops "murdering" a Palestinian boy is based. Now a petition is being circulated to urge France II to do the right thing. (Compendium of Al Dura links at Read)

Allyson Rowen Taylor:Thank you Pajamas Media for posting a very important petition. France must show the Al Dura Tapes, and show what they are hiding, as this case has become the “cause celebre” for the Palestinians and their supporters worldwide. This child, who not not killed, at least by the Israelis, has never been seen again. Was he used as a sacrificial lamb for HAMAS and the cause of terror against Israel? Why is the full tape not being released? We must get the French to do what is right, and show the tape.
Sep 6, 2007 - 4:45 am Martin:There is as much chance of France releasing true, undoctored, films of the al Dura affair as there is the chance of hair growing on the palm of your hand. Anyone who believes France will release these films if they contain fake photography and thereby prove France’s complicity in this outrageous travesty of justice and truth, is either naive or stupid, or both. It will never happen. I personally doubt that the film is still in existence.
