Me on Fox & Friends

For those of you who, for some unfathomable reason, failed to wake up at an ungodly hour to see me chat about The Limbaugh Challenge for two minutes with the good people at Fox & Friends, here it is at presumably a more godly hour:

I browsed the comments left at the LATimes website, beneath Mr. Klavan’s commentary and was not at all surprised by the anger and vitriol being thrown at Andrew for simply requesting that these people have an open mind. The parallels between how the Main Stream Media and the Left (excuse me for being redundant) treat vile individuals like Bill Maher and Senator (God help us all) Al Franken. When people like this spit out hate and insult, it’s taken as all in good fun and they are simply being “controversial”. When Limbaugh says things much, much milder than what these buffoons spit out, then he’s a propagator of hate speech.

Proves one of the Left’s driving ideas: “Free Speech for Me, but not for Thee.”

I doubt very much that Norman Lear actually reads Rush Limbaugh’s premium newsletter. He may pay for it—but my guess is that it is either ignored or read by a left-wing youngster hired by him. The hard left does not study the thinking of their opponents. At the most, they spend just enough time and effort to pick a few quotes to ultimately take out of context. These people are morally and intellectually bankrupt. They lack the will power to learn the truth. It would compel them to abandon their sinful ways.

You go, Andrew! We need you out there… not just defending Rush, but showing people another “face” of conservatism – one that’s decidedly un-Rush-like. (No offense to Rush, but one is enough!) Good job, as always.
