ann:All right , what is this?
Dec 23, 2006 - 12:09 pm Bill Bradley:Testing holiday programming in the NWN environment.
Dec 23, 2006 - 12:13 pm jillian:Merry Christmas Bill…I’m watching midnight mass from St. Peters…cookies would be nice right about now too:)
Dec 25, 2006 - 12:08 am Jonas Blane:Leave my Christmas cookies alone.
Dec 25, 2006 - 5:45 am Jonas Blane:Leave my Christmas cookies alone.
Dec 25, 2006 - 5:45 am Arnold Schwarzenegger:Do not worry. This Christmas I made enough cookies for everyone. Just come by my hospital room in Sun Valley and I will give them to you.
Arnold Schwarzenegger

Now who would want cookies when you have roast beef, baked potatoes, roasted veggies, ice cream and fine wine to wash it down with? Who?
Merry Something!
SS
Dec 25, 2006 - 8:02 am jillian:SS Merry Something to you too! Sounds similar to what I ate yesterday with my friends but had champagne instead of wine…lots of champagne…. Now Jonas I only looked at your Christmas cookies I did not touch them…Merry Something to you too Jonas
Dec 25, 2006 - 8:37 am Kandy Kid:Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays all. The Kandy Kid family is hosting 11 friends and family for a fatted calf holiday banquet. Sacramento Solon would love the feast – highlights include dry aged prime rib slow roasted in a smoker, endive salad with Chilton, pecans and pears, green beans with ginger and 4 dozen oysters harvested yesterday in Oysterville WA. We will be drinking some of the fine early 1990’s cabernets that will not get much better with age and besides, this is prime time.
For this joyful day, not one word of politics. Let celebration and fellowship reign.
Thanks Bill for hosting and filling this enjoyable corner of cyberspace. Both the view and the company are good.
Dec 25, 2006 - 9:20 am Sacramento Solon:KK,
Dry aged prime rib…sounds like something you might find at Taylor’s. Did you perhpas find it at that most wonderful market?
I did my large meal last evening and washed it down with a most wonderful cabernet…little more recent than the 90’s, 2002 Georges De Latour, but quite drinkable. I even saved some for today as well as one needs to ward off the cold in the River City.
Like you say, no talk of politics this day. Just warm wishes to you, Bill, Jillian, Barbara, Ann and all others who make this such a nice place to hang.
Peace and good wishes to all!
Dec 25, 2006 - 9:32 am Bill Bradley:Yes, Merry Christmas!
Incidentally, now that the relative chaos of the intense campaign season is in the rear view mirror, I’m using this wonderful new feature of the new software platform here. The scheduling feature. Hence the 12:01 AM Christmas publishing of the “Spirit of Christmas.”
But I assure you, I really was up at those godawful early morning hours during the election season. Painful, as I am a natural night person.
Dec 25, 2006 - 10:00 am Bill Bradley:Oh, and to the “Arnold” spammer. Nice use of your time on Christmas morning.
Dec 25, 2006 - 10:01 am Jonathan Hemlock:Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays, all! Don’t eat too much.
Dec 25, 2006 - 11:05 am carole w:I am spending Christmas morning playing with new toys. My favorites are the video golfing & tennis games. Yeah for Christmas:)
Dec 25, 2006 - 12:12 pm Sacramento Solon:Video golfing? Merry Christmas, please explain…
Dec 25, 2006 - 12:27 pm kandaharkid:Good on your for non-PC Merry Christmas.
Dec 25, 2006 - 1:47 pm Bill Bradley:People are free to celebrate whatever they want. I celebrate Christmas.
Dec 25, 2006 - 3:06 pm carole w:Sacto Solon:
Dec 25, 2006 - 4:10 pm carole w:The game responds via remote control to your stance and swing. It gives you par, wind direction, yards, club choices and a gorgeous course. I am the double bogey or boogie queen as my family calls me! Whew…Happy Holidays Sacto…your are loved and appreciated:)
..oh and I burned the turkey last night so no stomach ache today:(
Dec 25, 2006 - 4:11 pm Sacramento Solon:Carole W…
Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Happy Holidays to you and your family. Not sure if I’ve ever communicated with a queen of any kind. I’m honored!
Dec 25, 2006 - 4:19 pm Capitol Boy:Schwarzenegger is a very funny guy.
Dec 25, 2006 - 4:30 pm ann:Is Edwards announcing on Thursday like you thought?
Dec 25, 2006 - 5:52 pm Bill Bradley:Yes.
Dec 25, 2006 - 5:58 pm AthlonGuy:According to Ch. 10, Cruz Bustamante will be acting governor while the gov is under general anesthetic for his leg issue. Hello unlimited casinos everywhere! Too bad the legislature is on vacation, unable to implement their casino passions too.
What is up with today’s google graphic? They depict the baby Jesus as a kangaroo.
Dec 25, 2006 - 9:41 pm Capitol Boy:Not Cruz! Did they pry him out of some Indian casino and sober him up?
Dec 25, 2006 - 10:49 pm Sacramento Solon:Athlon Guy/Capitol Boy,
Don’t want to upset you, but Cruz has been the acting gov since Arnold crossed state lines. Strange, but nothing has changed in his absence.
Dec 25, 2006 - 11:13 pm Bill Bradley:There is that, Solon. Of course, nothing has been going on in California politics.
