With Bush declaring "Islam is Peace" : http://www.whitehouse.gov/news/releases/2001/09/20010917-11.html
. not to mention, letting Bin Ladens escape, covering up Saudi involvement in 9/11, guess which side of terror is Bush on?

for those interested, Kucinich has introduced an impeachment resolution: http://www.congress.org/congressorg/headlines.tt#news2

Mddy,

You said, "but surely all of folks at IDA, CIA, FBI, DOD, NSA and DHS arn’t THAT ignorant. I rest assured every night that these orgs are being watched VERY closely."

I have but one question for you.

What makes you believe that to be the case?

A very well-written article but surely all of folks at IDA, CIA, FBI, DOD, NSA and DHS arn't THAT ignorant. I rest assured every night that these orgs are being watched VERY closely.

Remember: "Keep your friends close but keep your enemies closer".

We know thr gameplan:

Yes, in some areas we are starting to see the fruits of thr labrs:
http://www.militantislammonitor.org/article/id/3414

Yet in others we start to see thr own destruction: http://www.nytimes.com/2008/03/04/world/middleeast/04youth.html?ex=1362286800&en=686cdad4b76a883e&ei=5090&partner=rssuserland&emc=rss&pagewanted=all

My vote's w/ the kids. They're tiring of the ndlss bloodshed and beginning to ridicule thr supposed 'religious' leaders. Let's help them find the light and expose this false ideology for what it really is. Click on the AMCE link to the six orgs and blog the guestbook/opinions areas.

If we can change thr minds, we can change thr hearts.

It remains incredible to most Americans that our own government has been infiltrated & is actively cooperating with those who would destroy us without one shred of emotion.
Listening to the other side, working in many ways to reach an accord or peace, and respecting the views of others, are important. However, doing so at the cost of internal security & allowing power & authority to be accumulated by those who see ANY American action as wrong, is pure & simple a suicidal act.
The bureaucracy is too worried about how we look to the world. They already fail to understand us, so lets act to protect ourselves until the rest of the world realizes the dangers we face.

Thank you for the data, Mr. Poole. I've been engaged in a discourse among Information Security professionals (InfoSec) about the lack of action by our government concerning websites that are used to spread hate and recruit new members.

I was prompted to initiate the discourse based on this news report:
http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,340613,00.html

To my horror, the majority of the InfoSec community sides with the government, agreeing that we shouldn't "interfere" with our intelligence community's efforts. People are taking action on their own precisely because our government isn't doing enough. Extremist websites are supposedly monitored by our intelligence agencies and they are left alone to spread hate and recruit members. Many websites have operated unmolested for years, and our government just sits there, doing nothing visible to stop it. They say that they are monitoring these sites but arrests are not made, the site operators remain untouched, and terror attacks continue around the world.

I couldn't make any sense of what's going on, until I read this article. Now it all makes sense - our intelligence agencies have been penetrated and our government evidently allowed it to happen. At least we have the right as individuals to make a difference. Our government is failing us again, so it's up to us to do something about it.

Thank you, Mr. Poole.
