I think it would be a mistake to interpret this as any sort of a resurgence by "moderates." It's just the hard-liners smacking down a smaller group of even harder-liners. Music to my ears if anybody in Iran wants to marginalize A'jad, tone down the whole absurd bombastic rhetoric and have better relations with "the west".
