All I Want for Christmas Is to Make Obama’s Enemies List
Figuring out a way to end up on the coveted "fishy" list of health care opponents.
I was too young and too obscure to make Richard Nixon’s enemies list back in the day. Not yet out of my teens, my attendance at subversive rallies against the Vietnam War and my contributions to a wildly anti-Nixon publication at my high school we bravely called The Truth just weren’t enough to bring me to the attention of Charles Colson. Thus, I never had a chance to get my name listed along with other great Americans like Ted Kennedy, Paul Newman, and Joe Namath.
I was a good little radical back then, mouthing all the idiocy we heard our elders spouting about evil corporations, evil conservatives, and the evil, evil military. Alas, the world passed me by and the one great opportunity of a lifetime to be recognized as an enemy of the state was lost.
Until now.
Having since grown up, gotten a job, and been disabused of the idea that there is, in fact, such a thing as a free lunch — along with other magical ideas liberals hold — you can imagine my delight when I heard that President Obama is going to be starting an enemies list of his own.
This time, I am absolutely determined to make the grade. Nothing will stand in my way. Come hell or high water, I am going to get my name on that list if I have to camp out in front of the office of Linda Douglass, communications director for the White House Office of Health Reform, until she slaps my moniker on that list just to get rid of me.
Douglass, who used to spout liberal agitprop for ABC News, now does something very similar for President Obama. Concerned that opponents of health care were disseminating information about the bill that fell outside the official White House-approved talking points, she made a nice little home video priming her charges for the work ahead. Then she had one of her flunkies ask the millions of Obamabots who still think their Dear Leader can do no wrong to report fellow citizens to the White House who weren’t making approved statements about the president’s plan:
Hi. I’m Linda Douglass. I’m the communications director for the White House Office of Health Reform, and one of my jobs is to keep track of all the disinformation that’s out there about health-insurance reform. And there are a lot of very deceiving headlines out there right now, such as this one — take a look at this one. This one says, “Uncovered Video: Obama Explains How His Health Care Plan Will Eliminate Private Insurance.”
Well, nothing can be farther from the truth. You know the people who always try to scare people whenever you try to bring them health-insurance reform are at it again. And they’re taking sentences and phrases out of context, and they’re cobbling them together to leave a very false impression. The truth is that the president has been talking to the American people a lot about health-insurance reform and what is at stake for them.
This was followed up with a note posted on the White House website from director of new media Macon Phillips:
On Monday, White House director of new media Macon Phillips posted a note on the White House web site complaining of “disinformation about health insurance reform.” “These rumors often travel just below the surface via chain emails or through casual conversation,” Phillips wrote. “Since we can’t keep track of all of them here at the White House, we’re asking for your help. If you get an email or see something on the web about health insurance reform that seems fishy, send it to flag@whitehouse.gov.”
Whoa. “Casual conversation?” That covers a lot of ground, doesn’t it? Of course, writing a blog and having articles published here on the Pajamas Media website already gives me an advantage over other opponents of health care reform. My problem will be finding a way to drop anti-health care reform bombs during the right kind of casual conversation so that I am reported to the White House with agreeable alacrity.
I suppose I could report myself, but where’s the fun in that? Nope, I must seek out the most rabid Obama supporter I know and, during the course of a typical casual conversation, let loose with some doozies about how senior citizens are going to be marched off to euthanasia facilities under ObamaCare. Or how born babies will have to undergo a Spartan ritual examination to determine their fitness to survive under our nationalized health care system. Are they worthy of being included in our ObamaCare utopia? If not, it’s over the cliff with them.

I used small letters for my screen title-
fear Obama.
I didn’t say FEAR BAMBIE,
Or FEAR HOPE-AA-DOPE.
Or some other slanderous name.
PLEASE TELL ME I WON’T GET INTO TROUBLE WITH AN IRS AUDIT?
If PJM could go back and delete all my comments, would that get me on or off the enemies list?
Its terrible that the thoughts of a keyboard and mouse could wind up getting me put into a dark pee smelling stained room and beaten by an ACORN volunteer.
If I keep worrying about this I will probably need Obamacare or become one of the 27 million that need anti-depressive drugs.
Oh the frigging humanity of it all!
(half hour later)
I am fine now-
I went into my private room and looked at the American Flag taking from the casket covered body of my father that fought in WW2.
And read some of his letters from that Great War.
I also thought about what John McCain said:
“They don’t scare me,
I have been frighten by professionals.”
Anyone that has served in Vietnam a couple of years knows what/who he was talking about.
So bring on your pushy little whiny Chicago Mob hair heads and watch me do the Bambie shuffle on some of their community meetings without a teleprompter.
I have nothing to loose and I owe it to my grandchildren.
Trolls Welcome..
Aug 7, 2009 - 12:07 am 3. jbaker:I also want to make the list. To that end I sent the following email to: flag@whitehouse.gov
“To whomever is in charge until the adults come back to Washington:
I need to report Obama, Pelosi, Boxer, Reid, and a few select others, for submitting frivolous and unconstitutional proposed legislation, and using manipulative tactics and coercion to entice, and/or force, other lawmakers to vote for bills of national significance without first reading it and fully understanding the implication to the American public, i.e., porkulus and health care reform. And worse, deliberately using clouded language to hide the true ramifications of this legislation from the American public. I also want to report the Secretary of the Treasury, Mr. Timothy Geithner; (I’ve heard from reliable sources that he cheats on his taxes).
I also want to report the Obama administration for encouraging these Soviet style tactics in regards to encouraging Americans to inform directly to their leaders of the free and protected speech of those who may disagree with official Obama policy. Furthermore, I question the motivation of the administration in making this request, and to what purpose the information gleaned would be used. I also question the accuracy of such reports. I suggest that any type of penalty for disagreement would have to be investigated extensively, thereby wasting billions more taxpayer dollars on frivolous bureaucratic BS. I hereby inform you that I do not appreciate the violation of my constitutional right to peaceably disagree with what Washington DC decides to do WITH MY MONEY!
You have my name and e-mail address; also note please that I am a veteran, therefore I believe somebody in your office considers me to be an enemy of the state.
For what it’s worth, I also believe you are all a collection of shameless liars.
I am here waiting to be picked up by the Obamagestapo.
VTY,
J. Baker”
I sincerely hope that gets my name on the list. These people really piss me off. I also hope about 300 million other outraged Americans send a similar email to the flag@whitehouse.gov
We need to get our names on the list, “the list” being the voter registration rolls for 2010, so we can start throwing these bums out of our political house. Go to the city dog pound, find the ugliest, meanest, dirtiest cur you can find, and elect him to congress, send him to Washington. Maybe the Ivy League elites will then get the message.

Aug 7, 2009 - 1:14 am 6. RightwingHippieChick:health care reform debate. It is about the provisions in the bill for salmon with pre-existing conditions and how the government will take care of them with the public option. Seems trout and bass are currently not included in the bill, hope Nancy does something about that. You people should be ashamed of yourselves with these communist tactics, I pray for only one term for you liberal clowns.
This list must be poisoned by thousands of false positives, otherwise it may become a real danger to people.
Get snitching folks!

Aug 7, 2009 - 4:10 am 10. Cindy Sue Causey:Hopefully I’ve just made the list (if I haven’t already as I have an “unusual” follower who showed up during one of my daylong goes at health care reform)..
Anyway, sent @WhiteHouse a tweet a little bit ago asking them in so many words why are they consciously using “Flag”, the verbal representation of one of our national symbols, for people to “big brother” America..
The more I think on it, what a great way to forever attach a humongously negative connotation to that very word that in and of itself is capable of eliciting a mental image of all that we hold so dear and proudly..
Aug 7, 2009 - 4:12 am 11. englishrose:Well, i’m on the list right away. I’ve obliterated my blog or else faces of condemnation.
Aug 7, 2009 - 4:12 am 12. Outrageous:“As Congress debates health care reform and other critical policy matters, citizen engagement must not be chilled by fear of government monitoring the exercise of free speech rights.”
Yesterday the Whitehouse advised Democrats to, “Punch back twice as hard.” And sure enough with the dispatch of his Union thugs things turned violent Chicago style several places across our nation last night.
Mr. Obama has now crossed a line that no president has ever dared try in the United States of America. He has sent a chilling message to every citizen in our nation saying, “You will do what I tell you to even if I have to beat you into a pulp!”
It is time for Americans to demand their elected representatives get this man under control or begin the steps needed to have him removed from office.
Aug 7, 2009 - 4:19 am 13. sodacrackers:#3 jbaker, you are my hero!
Aug 7, 2009 - 4:21 am 14. SB:Things are getting very ugly out there very fast after White House deputy chief of staff Jim Messina told Democrat senators “If you get hit, we will punch back twice as hard”. Violence broke out at Castor town hall meeting in Tampa, and across the country, and it seems that this will be a very hot and brutal summer. Every one who go to those and any other meetings must make sure that they have plenty of video and cell phone cameras, and some cameras with monopods running from a distance to document the tsunami that will be brought down upon the people. Reminds me of Ezekiel 25:17 ” ….. The path of the righteous man is beset on all sides by the inequities of the selfish and the tyranny of evil men ….. And I will strike down upon thee with great vengeance and furious anger ….. when I lay my vengeance upon you.” This may turn out to be a summer to remember, a summer of discontent, a summer of living dangerously, and may be a time about which people will tell their families and neighbors that “this story shall the good man teach his son; ….. From this day to the ending of the world, But we in it shall be remember’d; We few, we happy few, we band of brothers; For he to-day that sheds his blood with me, Shall be my brother; be he ne’er so vile, This day shall gentle his condition” in “states unborn and accents yet unknown”. Be well, and be safe.

By the way, I come from Queensland, Australia, where the public, government-run health care system is in a real shambles. They’ve even reduced the number of hospital beds per number of Queenslanders, FFS!
Although the two systems probably won’t be identical, I oppose Obama’s healthcare reforms because I fear that it will do to Americans what the Queensland health system has done to various Queenslanders. I don’t feel that the government, as a general rule, is competent at running health care.

Aug 7, 2009 - 5:39 am 21. adam:These declarations of war upon Americans are actually very good news. They are a sign of desperation, and every single one of them will backfire. The biggest mistake you can make today is thinking you can talk only to “your own” without everyone else hearing you. It’s like trying to gossip about everyone else at a party without realizing that everything you say echoes instantly to everyone. It’s not necessary to do much more right now than simply repeating, amplifying, disseminating, parodying and otherwise reiterating in entertaining ways exactly what the Democrats themselves are saying. The well dressed as enemies of the state (Boxer); astroturfers as using swastikas (Pelosi); “hitting back hard” against old ladies (well, they still have their health insurance, don’t they?); reporting on the “fishy”–there’s no way any of us could have invented such material for ourselves, and there’s bound to be more of it coming daily. Just keep the incompetence and the babbling circulating. Looking ridiculous is fatal to people who claim to be able to tell us what to eat, which medical procedures to have, which cars to drive, etc.–first, let them make a reasonably coherent and half-way honest statement.

I respect your views even though I don’t agree with them. Whets wrong with debate?
I also think it’s fishy to send union members to Town Hall meetings to confront people who don’t agree with your agenda and tell you so.
I remember candidate Obama saying “go out and get in peoples faces! “ Is he being hypocritical??
I think it’s fishy that you set loose Iranians who have been directly responsible for killing our brave men and women.
That’s my definition of fishy, I’m sure I’m fishy to you so I’m reporting myself!
God Bless America!
Aug 7, 2009 - 6:33 am 28. John "birther" Samford:It’s not the IRS you need to worry about. No job = no payroll taxes, plus the IRS has to take you to court. Traditionally, the judiciary tends to frown on enemies lists.
Aug 7, 2009 - 6:39 am 29. gamehawker:No, you need to worry about the SS. Secret Service, that is. The American version has powers that the Nazi version never dreamed of having. The American SS can pick you up and lock you up for observation anytime they want. That observation lasts as long as they want it to.
While I don’t know this to be true, I have heard that the SS is sworn to the PRESIDENT, not the Constitution like the military. AFAIK most police swear to uphold the Constitution when they are sworn in. State Constitution in most cases.
An Aside; I was re-reading a history of the 3rd Reich and came across something I had forgotten
Hitler was a community organizer. A Bildungsoffizier, which is a cultural instructor or ideological instruction officer.
Combined with the Usurper’s economic policies, he is a better match for Hitler then Bush was.
So where are the cries of ObamHitler? Or BarakHitler?

If everyone would simply send fish – meaning pictures, plastic ones, wooden ones, real ones (dead), ones on T shirts… to flag@whitehouse.gov, or the to the White House snail mail address, it would be much like the tea bag mailing. Real annoying for them and funny and provocative for us.
I sent a picture of me holding two salmon I caught to the White House. I, too, am upset they weren’t covered by the new health care bill until I ate them…
The left in power is SO out of touch with real people.
Aug 7, 2009 - 7:19 am 38. Sebastian Shaw:President Obama is desperat, but, like a wounded animal, he is still dangerous. I still think any of the Blue Dog Democrats who refuse to attend town halls without the aide of the union thugs should be voted out of office next year; the Democrats are willing to hurt their own constituents via the unions. This is unacceptable. The backlash is growing & getting bigger. The Blue Dogs should be voted out of office completely. Vote Republican in 2010.
The enemies list is just juvenile. It is also unconstitutional.

But chilling by fear is one of few things that the crowd of Chicago thugs running Obama knows how to do.

Aug 7, 2009 - 7:25 am 40. Highlander:Some enterprising young blogger should set up a link allowing citizens to sign a petition-like statement to the effect that we the people thought we’d save the Administration having to go to all the trouble and expense of developing a snitch list, by volunteering one of our own – and then sending the resultant list of thousands to the head snitch at the White House. I don’t have the expertise to do this myself, but I would consider it a badge of honor to sign it.
Aug 7, 2009 - 7:28 am 41. Now and Then:WASHINGTON (Reuters) – “U.S. employers cut 247,000 jobs in July, far less than expected and the least in any month since last August, according to data on Friday that provided the clearest evidence yet that the economy was turning around. With fewer workers being laid off, the unemployment rate eased to 9.4 percent in July from 9.5 percent the prior month, Labor Department data showed, the first time the jobless rate had fallen since April 2008.”
And now you know why the hysteria is being drummed up by conservative backers and media. You’re running out of time. As the economy continues to rebound, you will become more strident, more desperate, and more marginalized. Your paranoia will bubble to the surface, replacing the self-righteous indignation that you were told you deserved. “He’s a failure! He’s ruining our country!” will no longer be available to you.
Instead it will be, “Facing the most challenging inheritance of any modern president, Barack Obama has turned the foundering ship of the American economy around.. Unemployment is now going down. The big three auto makers remain business. Major healthcare legislation, albeit trimmed back from its original scope, has been passed. And the stock market continues to trade above 10,000.”
Then what are you going to protest? Wait, I know . . . Julie and Julia.

I don’t think he (Obama) cares. Robert Mugabe didn’t. He used the same marxist handbook that sunshine is using.

Aug 7, 2009 - 8:05 am 55. Sherab Zangpo:Also what happened to the liberal mantra during the GWB years that dissent was the ultimate form of patriotism peddled by Alan Combs. Was there an expitation date?
There will be a tax to pay to be on the Enemies of the President list.
You can be sure.

It doesn’t surprise me though that you’d take their “reporting” to be the gospel. Many uninformed, unread, unthinking, uneducated people do. I especially enjoy the grunting and chest-beating comments. So enlightening as to the mindset of the liberal persona wouldn’t you agree? “We won, you not, we take over things now!” sort of drivel.
You do realize it’s okay to voice a dissenting opinion against the government right? You did hear of a little document called the Constitution right? Just checking. It was written for all of us remember? Not just the whining, hand-wringing, ineffectual liberals unfortunately.
Aug 7, 2009 - 8:22 am 60. Daveyardbird:re#41 The 9.4% is not an accurate figure. It does not include several key things. Namely the number of people whose unemployment has run out and are still out of work a number setimated to be 3/4 of a million people. Also it makes no mention of the number of high school and college age kids who were unable to find summer jobs.

( I came to my senses in time to vote for McCain.) Organize for America is soliciting donations of $1 a day until the health care bill passes from some very poor folks I met as a volunteer. It’s despicable. Anyway, inspired by the comments, I have decided to turn myself in as an enemy of the state, and live on in the White House archives forever, along with all that junk mail.

Hey, I need to inform on myself. I have been going around telling people that it REALLY SUCKS that you are going to raise my taxes to pay for obamacare, while I’m going to be high on the list for euthanasia because I’m old and I’m a disabled veteran. I spent 26 years wearing a U.S. Air Force uniform in hot wars and cold wars because I had sworn an oath to support and defend the Constitution of the United States. Two of those years I spent in the jungles of Southeast Asia trying to protect a couple of poor little countries from being taken over by communists.Ironically, now my own country has been taken over by communists. Do you really believe you can keep us down?
Here’s some jive talk for obama: during my productive lifetime I imagine I paid more taxes than obama ever will. My IQ is higher than his. My wife is much better looking than his. I smell better than he does. If obama wants to have a beer to talk about it, he can’t. I don’t drink. I’d love to share a pot of hemlock tea with him though.
If you wish to send a pair of thugs or agents to speak with me. I would recommend that they come escorted by a local uniformed police officer in a marked cruiser, during daylight hours and approach the front door only, for their safety.

“These proles are too stupid to know what’s good for them.”

If everybody this site were to “report” 10 cartoon characters as suspicious we might just use their own tactics against them.

Tom Holsinger:My father was a California Democratic Party apparchnik with a fairly wide background, including several years as the chief hatchetman for the most notorious California political boss in the past 50 years – Jesee Unruh. Pop’s last hurrah was plotting with then Clinton White House chief of staff Leon Panetta (who is now CIA Director) in December 1994 on the best way for the Clinton administration to exploit then California Governor Pete Wilson’s disastrous mistake in backing an anti-immigrant iniative in that year’s elections. Which Pop and Panetta completely succeeded in doing – by 1998 only one Republican held statewide office in California.
Pop hated Richard Nixon. Absolutely hated him.
My father’s biggest disappointment in life was that he never made Nixon’s enemies list, but his best friend, banker Ray Lapin (head of Ginnie Mae), did. And Ray never let Pop forget about it.

Furthermore, I take every opportunity to criticize this administration and its policies to my two Senators (Bingaman, Udall) and my Representative (Heinrich), and anyone else that will listen.
As a result of turning myself in to the Thought Police, I fully expect to be audited by the IRS. Funny thing about that – I do not make enough money to make it worth their while!”

Aug 7, 2009 - 11:27 am 100. Commuter:89. Now and Then:
I love Patriot Actors who defended wiretaps and data mining while shredding the Constitution…”
I doubt you’ve ever read the Constitution. Or if you have, understood it. It is a compact between the people and government that lays out the rights of the people, and the system, responsibilities, and limits of the government as a design to ensure those rights. Start with the preamble to the Bill of Rights, and then the Rights themselves, then apply them to a reading of the Articles. What you’ll find is that the Articles don’t just define the system, but also the limits of the federal government. Those limits have their footing in the Bill of Rights.
The Articles provide for the common defense. The previous administration spent time and effort ascertaining that the wiretaps and data mining did not overreach the Constitution. Your statemnent that they shredded it is specious and ignorant.
On the other hand, if anyone is intimidated into not expressing his or her right to free assembly and free speech by any use the current administration puts the information they are gathering at flag@whitehouse.gov to, the current administration has no validity according to the Constitution.
In a nutshell, one name submitted to Obama’s list, then passed on to one person who uses it to intimidate the first, a federal crime or crimes have been committed. If that crime is legally tracked to any direction from the president, he will be guilty of impeachable malfeasance in offense.
If that’s the case, you should hope for your boy’s sake that he has a smart enough Rose Rose Mary Woods type who can delete impeachable evidence tracking to the president. Tall order, I think. Lot tougher to do now than in the days of tape recorders for one. Your boy does not seem to surround himself with competent people for another.

If anyone disagrees with them they can’t marshall their arguments; so, they resort to gradeschool name calling – fascist, marxist socialist, thug, etc. You have to wonder if they behave like this with their family and neighbors. Is this paranoia confined to politics or does it infect the rest of their lives too. It would be an interesting study.

Aug 7, 2009 - 1:56 pm 113. John "birther" Samford:What economic rebound? A rebound would be unemployment down to 4.5% and the Dow back to 13,000. What we have here is a leveling off, just like the one in April.
In May, as all the Socialists said the depression was ending, I pointed out that it wasn’t. ALL depressions follow the same pattern. Now if that pattern is created by government programs trying to halt the depression or if it is a natural one is still open to debate.
What is not open to debate is the pattern itself. The indicators go down, then level off, then go down again, then level off, then go down again, etc. IIRC between 1929 and 1942 there were about 8 of these cycles. Each one was worse then the one before. What gave the Socialists in charge ( FDR and his Communist buddies) hope was that the leveling out periods were longer between the crashes. The same with the German, French and British versions.
Eventually, all the nations economies were cured by WW2. 200 million dead is a high price to pay for a cure.
Since I predicted this leveling out in May, let me predict the next crash cycle starting in September. I base that on the Usurper holding on to the July economic data thru August, since that data is so bad it will push the market into another slid. By law the Administration was supposed to have released the data last week. But we already know what the Usurper thinks about the Law.

The list you join is long and distinguished and includes celebrated conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh and his brother David, Sean Hannity, Chuck Norris, Dr. Charles Krauthammer, and many others. Since Chicago politicians graciously allow the dead to vote [as long as it's for the Democrat], I included names such as William F. Buckley, George Washington, Alexander Hamilton, etc. There are even uber-liberals such as Keith Olbermann, Supreme Court Justice Sonya Sotomayor, and the entire staff of the New York Times. When facts are unimportant, imagination has a chance to kick in.

Are there still people around who doubt that Obama, if given the opportunity wouldn’t lift constitutional freedoms, establish reeducation camps around and pursue an open-ended term of Luminous Leader in USA?
Aug 7, 2009 - 5:49 pm 122. Sebastian Shaw:“Universal health care is going to benefit everyone.”–Pat J.
Universal health care will not include President Obama, Nanacy Pelosi, Senator Harry Reid, & the many other politicians in Washington DC; in fact, a Republican tried to put an amendment to include the other politicians, but the Democrat Senators voted against it this week. Why, if universal health care is the anodyne your speak of Pat that our own Democrat Senators voted against this amendment?
My point is not everyone is going to be covered by universal health care: The politicians will retain their ability to choose their own health care as they try their best to take away our choices with the horrible public option.
Try it again with the Utopian fantasy Pat. All I see is a universal nightmare in universal health care. I don’t want some snotty clueless politicians to have the power to of life & death over my loved ones. I want to make my own decisions of my health care. The politicians need to get the hell out of it.

Then, we had the Russian purges and the Goulags, then the Stasi, then the snitching apparatus reporting fishy, occurrences in all Eastern Europe, then the Toton Macoutes, then… then the MoveOnOrg, the ACORN, the ACLU, the Southern Law, the Daily Kos, and other progressive organizations and idividuals across America ready to inflict progress around at any price. (After all, aren’t the American progressives responding to Hitler’s call: “Progressives, I free you of that chymera the bourgeoisie names conscience!”)
Are there still people around who think that Obama, if given the opportunity, wouldn’t suspend the constitution, establish reeducation camps, and march ahead on an open-ended career of Luminous leader in America?
Strange times indeed – remind me the raise of the 3rd. Reich.

How is universal health care going to benefit all?
How is it going to be paid for?
I’ll await your reply. Please include some specifics.
Aug 7, 2009 - 6:05 pm 125. Disciple of Teh One:Ya dumb wingnuts. Here’s how O-care is going to help. It’s going to help us all by getting rid of the eggplants and the cletuses. We don’t need no dumb junglebunnies or hillbillies. And we sure don’t need no retards or cripples. Or grampas. We’re gonna save the cost of em all. Capiche?
Aug 7, 2009 - 6:25 pm 126. myth buster:One of the trolls asked why we care that Congress won’t be a part of the public option. Answer: if you suspect the man serving you dinner may have poisoned it, his willingness to taste it in front of you will assuage those fears, and his refusal to taste it will serve to confirm them.
Aug 7, 2009 - 6:32 pm 127. Lucid:We should all forward videos of Obama’s & Pelosi’s numerous untrue and disingenuous statements about their health care proposals to the White House’s Fishy site for disinformaton. They are the ones who have been repeatedly telling the big lies. We can sign our names big and call it the John hancock Project.
It is so characteristic of Obama to accuse his opponents of doing EXACTLY what he is doing himself.
Aug 7, 2009 - 6:33 pm 128. trigeek:Pat J- “I have no problem with free speech. I have a problem with rude behavior. And by independent thought? I make my own decisions based on critical thought. Universal health care is going to benefit everyone, including you Thinker.”
Okay Pat J- So you were upset by all the liberals yelling and screaming (Code Pink etc…)whenever Bush officials were speaking? The left has always been much more rude. All the protest you see with cars being overturned and burned, that is the left. The left busses protesters in and it is call grassroots. The right has individuals speaking out for their own rights, and that is called a conspiracy. Please explain.

Pat can’t say without confessing that it’s a second hander scheme to take from those who have earned it and forcefully give it to those who have not earned it. The health care scam will also take away the care most people are happy with, that is undisputable and every evidence in the world verifies it. So the minority is tryimg to control the vast majority. A few loudmouth thugs trying to steal all they can get before they run out of town on a rail.

This is nothing but trying to control every aspect of my life. Send that disinformation to the snitches at the White House… flag@whitehouse .gov ! I’ll be glad to be on their enemies list!
Aug 7, 2009 - 8:11 pm 132. Theo Goodwin:It turns out that the administration’s solicitation of snitches is doubly illegal, as Fox News explains:
The White House strategy of turning supporters into snitches when they see “fishy” information about the health care debate may run afoul of the law, legal experts say.
“The White House is in bit of a conundrum because of this privacy statute that prohibits the White House from collecting data and storing it on people who disagree with it,” Judge Andrew Napolitano, a FOX News analyst, said Friday.
“There’s also a statute that requires the White House to retain all communications that it receives. It can’t try to rewrite history by pretending it didn’t receive anything,” he said.
“If the White House deletes anything, it violates one statute. If the White House collects data on the free speech, it violates another statute.”
Napolitano was referring to the Privacy Act of 1974, which was passed after the Nixon administration used federal agencies to illegally investigate individuals for political purposes. Enacted after Richard Nixon’s resignation in the Watergate scandal, the statute generally prohibits any federal agency from maintaining records on individuals exercising their right to free speech.

As your Prezz, I am upset that people aren’t agreeing with me. In fact, I am annoyed and my feelings are very hurt. But mostly I am just mad at the big meanies.
If you want to prove that you’re really my bff, I want you to start tattling. I want you to tattle on every little ratfink who says something mean about me. It doesn’t matter if they’re lying or not, just tattle.
I am starting my own brigade, called “The Tattle Tale Brigade.” Only my bffs can be on my brigade. We’re meeting in the treehouse and you’ll have to take a blood oath, then spit. I even have matching brown shirts you can wear – but they’re only for my bffs who are my very bestest friends.
We’re gonna show those meanies a thing or two.

The Shadow it’s grandEUR. Spelling it correctly really emphasizes you know the meaning and message you’re attempting to convey.
What I really dig though is your attempt at playing the ‘moral high ground’ ‘..they resort to gradeschool name calling – fascist, marxist socialist, thug,..’
You opened your temper tantrum ‘wingnuts’ Psst, that’s name calling. Yes I’m sure!
fascist – System of Government characterized by extreme dictatorship – Government takeover of auto, banking, home & loans, attempting health care in less than 6 months.. what do you think?
marxist – From each according to his abilities, to each according to his needs. Spread the wealth around. The press should be not only a collective propagandist and a collective agitator, but also a collective organizer of the masses. – These sound familiar?
Stalin and Trotsky had a similar ideology regarding Socialism. Though Stalin succeeded in power when Lenin died. You know what happened to Trotsky? He was forced to leave. It’s similar in today’s political climate. Whereas Democrats and Republicans still incorporate the ‘temporary ally’ approach. Or threatening tones to their own colleagues.
The following is from Sen Sherrod Brown – D Ohio regarding fellow Democrats taking a risk if defying their party’s majority:
“I don’t think there’s any Democrat, on a procedural vote, who wants to be on the wrong side of history,” he said. “I think, in the end, there will also be a handful of Republicans who don’t want to be on the wrong side of history.”
thugs – you needn’t look any further than the SEIU across the country this past week.
Aug 7, 2009 - 11:56 pm 135. Libertyship46:People tend to forget that the American Revolution was only supported by about one third of the public. Another third were “Loyalists,” or loyal to the King of England, and the remianing third were neutral. Yet that rebellious third managed to secure independance for this nation and create perhaps the best democracy ever invented by mankind. The Founding Fathers would have been ashamed of this generation if we shirked our duties to stand up to this form of tyranny. It is up to us, this patriotic one third, to stand up and say that what is happening here with the Obama administration is wrong and illegal and that we will not accept it. And, hopefully, we will convince that neutral third of the nation to support us in electing other people in 2010 and 2012, people who actually believe in the Constitution, and don’t just think it’s some quaint little document that belongs on some dusty shelf in a library somewhere. Stand up, America. Go to your local town hall meetings, write to your representatives (or, better yet, call them), and use the freedoms you have to get these thugs out of office.
Does that get me on the list?

How thick can one person be?
As for your comment that you dislike “rude behavior” from the protestors. Yeah right. Did Pelosi’s “swastiska” comment offend you? Did Obama’s calling the police officer stupid offend you? We all already know your answer unfortunately. Only average citizens speaking out against an oppressive regime offends you.

I can’t stand the suspense. I just turned myself in. This is my e-mail.
How can you justify this? Encouraging citizens to inform on each other? Really? What happened to the “patriotism of dissent” argument used before the last election? I disagree with the scatter shot approach you have taken to Health care, and the rush to pass legislation. I’ve not been spreading misinformation, but you may as well add me to your list.

I thought that I better report this e-mail to flag@whitehouse.gov, as it seems to mock the proposed health plan.
In other words, it seems fishy.

I’ll give ya clue, Rick. If you haven’t had a visit from your County Sheriff or from the SS, you’re probably not doing it right.
Just sayin’. That whole gettin’ on the government’s Enemies List thingy is easy. These days, anyway. It used to take some time and effort…
I was on their list before, but I finally got a visit from the county sheriff’s office by tellin’ a few of the inimitable “PTB” that if they didn’t change their ways, that this whole business could only end in disaster. From a study of history, the outcomes are as inevitable as the tides and that they were going to induce a ’shock and awe’ event of their own creation.
a few days afterwards…
—-
“Knock. Knock.”
Uh…who’s there? Oh. It’s you. How can I help you gentlemen?
(Two rather large young men wearing badges, civilian clothes… and mostly empty combat harnesses.)
…later, while we were all standing outside on my deck…
“Mr. Bonesteel, are you now or have you ever made a threat against anyone in the government?”
Nope.
“You said, lemme see…you said something about ’shock and awe’…”
—-
Yeah. Really. About three weeks ago, now.
Political intimidation by our elected leaders, a complaint apparently filed by both Republicans and Democrats from state legislatures and from D.C.. I’m obviously not in jail awaiting trial…
Yes, it really happened, although the conversation related above lasted a bit longer and isn’t verbatim…
