the south of italy is still a place with demographic growth of the local people, therefore since we don’t have services helping mothers like in sweden, it’s considered normal that the mother stays at home. The south of italy is the region where there’s the highest “out of contract” work employment, that statistics don’t cover that.

I’m sure some muslim women are abused by their husbands in the UK as are some non-muslim women, this is illegal and the law is clear on that. The fact that people may decide to settle disputes without recourse to the legal system is a private matter in a free society and banning the informal procedures of one religion only would do nothing to stop that.

No, those women don’t accept Sharia principles and so they will not take part in Sharia proceedings, any attempt to force them is a matter for the criminal lawcourts.

The same laws could be used to set up tribunals based on the principles of Scientology, Baha’i or libetarianism. It’s not anything specifically to do with muslims or Islam much as you would like it to be.
