You effectively asked that evidence be given to support the absence of homophobia when the definition you’ve given for “homophobe” so denatures the term as to render any opposition to what you determine to be support for gay rights as meriting what an epithet on the order of racist. Now homophobia is probably best characterized as an irrational fear, aversion to, and discrimination against homosexuals or homosexuality. The very opinions you cite as evidence, I have suggested prove the opposite of what you think and claim, and I’m far from alone in believing this. You want my evidence: you have the opinions. Extraordinary accusations such that which you’ve leveled at Scalia demand extraordinary evidence. You haven’t come close to giving it. Yours is a cheap, and unfortunately overused, rhetorical device used to dismiss the arguments and reasoning of person without ever addressing them. For that reason – and the evidence is on this thread – I can not, as I wrote before, take you, or your reasoning, seriously. And conversation by this or any other means is a fools errand.
