One other thing about the movie, I got teary eyed in a few places…such as when the Patton character was watching the soldiers in Afghanistan. I mentioned it to my 19 year old and she said she got teary eyed as well.

I saw this movie with my two girls. My 19 year old really liked it and laughed her head off, my 10 year old hated it, I thought it was okay…I got a few laughs, but thought it was way to long.

The last movie review I read was of “American Beauty” with Kevin Spacey. My friend and I felt like we needed a scalding shower afer watching that movie, and most critics gave it 4 stars and it won an Oscar for Best Picture! So, now if I happen to read a review I assume the opposite is true and so far I haven’t been wrong. My husband and I will be seeing it, to support those bringing us good, decent, and uplifting movies.

We went last weekend and took our 16 year old son with us…he is in his “right” mind :~) I thought the movie was funny… love Trace!! But the language the kids used was appalling. Anyone else think so? I realize that kids may talk that way, but, if I heard my son talking that way when he was that age, it’d the soap for sure! We will buy the DVD to support the movie because more movies need to be made that tell what real people think ~ not just what Hollywood wants to tell us to think!
