I am astounded and saddened by the views expressed here.

Drew Brees: Islam is intrinsically extremist? I think you seriously misunderstand the concept of jihad – it is primarily about the inner struggle within the individual against the evil within their own mind and heart.

rvastar: ‘Judeo-Christian morality’ is the answer? I suggest you go and read a Bible – not much morality in the Old Testament, that I can recognise as such.

I abhor Wahabist extremism, Zionist extremism, Radical Separatist feminist extremism, Fundamentalist Christian extremism, nationalist extremism, and Western-society-is-the-best-ever-and-we-have-the-right-and-duty-to-crush-everyone-else extremism, along with all other forms, but what is most important in countering and eliminating extremism and its effects is a real understanding of why people adopt extremist beliefs and views.

Some of the young Muslim women and men born and raised in ‘the West’ are drawn into Wahabist extremism. Why is that? They are not ‘naturally’ more violent people, nor is Islam ‘inherently’ more violent than any other religion. In order to stop the adoption of Wahabist extremism by these young people, we need to understand why those that adopt them do so, and to understand that, we need to understand their lives and experiences. We can’t do that by dismissing them, or surrendering to our fear of the unfamiliar, however well-founded it feels.

P.S. Paul T: Actually, we declared war against Germany when the German army invaded Poland; the treaty the UK had with Poland gave us the necessary, legal, cause to go to war against the Nazis.

Gee…am i ever confused. We have two opposite extremes dragging western societies to the Abyss. Radical feminism emasculating boys/men & now male dominated radical muslim’s waging Jihad in the western part of the world. Both groups well funded by same secretive elites. Does any wonder why our kids are deeply in drugs & alcohol? I suppose to comprehend the mental thinking our leaders experience when sober. Maybe i should indulge on the toxic stuff.

Nah…i think to have the answer while still sober. To break-down western traditional culture’s & economies in preparation for a NWO. These are instruments of powerful hidden forces.

Some great posts up there. The radicals here and elsewhere, nazis, communists, radical Muslims, etc all want the same thing. To collapse the West’s financial, economic, and political syatems into something more to their liking.
The Marriott bombing in Pakistan is tragic.
Every event like that that happens between now and Election Day will only help McCain. Let’s see Friday night at the Presidential foreign policy debate if Obama still wants to negotiate with these subhumans.

The main point in the latest edition of Despatches, was not the hatred, supremacism and violence promoted by the speakers. It was the attendance.

That mosque was packed with enthusiasts. And there were many sessions, each lasting for a full 8 hour day, every Saturday and Sunday. It went on over several weeks.

If all those folk knew what to expect (and it seems they did- no objections were raised), and knew the venue and dates, the mosque committee had to have known.

And what of the congregation? Are we expected to believe that a “tiny minority” of extremists can fill a mosque every weekend for a festival of bloodlust, and none of them ever alerted the police?

Funny that….

There is a lot going on under the surface in Britain.

The next couple of years are going to be interesting:-

1. ‘the loony left’ have only a limited time in power. There are politicians who are capable of ’standing up’ to the muslims, just that theyre not in power at the moment. Votes will have to put them there.

2. The recent wave of muslim immigration is largely dependant on welfare [including benefits for multiple wives]. Free NHS healthcare, housing benefit etc are the reason these people are migrating from the 3rd world. There are no jobs. The loony left allow them in because they vote for the loony left.

3. Recessions lead to social upheval of one sort or another. This one seems likely to be deeper than most, so the implications will also be deeper.

All this goes for the US, Canada and to a certain extent Australia also.

the brits have always been strange. it is their quirky nature, their odd class system, even their royal airs, that endear them to americans. and, their humor, their wit, makes us laugh. as they do not approve of getting overwrought, brits ignore much of what goes on around them. what else could have caused chamberlain to take his umbrella to germany and sit down with a monstrous creature like hitler and think he had a deal. now, as then, we are drowning in ignorance and denial. the difference is, we have no leaders anymore. greatness could save us, but there is none. we can, though, at the very least install those who are clear about what they stand against. anything else, signals our demise. if we go down, so do we all, the brits and the West. it is not hyperbole. the muslims are everywhere in europe, and in america, and they want to see western democracy dead, wherever it exists. muslim fanatics are in our schools, our universities, our government, our media. their money supply is endless and bottomless, and if we follow the money that supports mr. obama, i do not think we will like where it leads. it is especially worriesome with an economy in chaos, and with the chinese waffling on their american investments. vigilance won’t mean much when the horse has already left. islamists can buy us and rule. with obama in the presidency and the support of leftists, it is more likely. mccain-palin, while not economists, might put a lid on this urge to rule. perhaps trying to overtake us might not be such a good idea if you pay for it with your hair on fire.
