Hey subreen;

Perhaps you missed this earlier...

This just in…!

MSM up to the same old tricks…

http://www.foxnews.com/story/0,2933,479485,00.html

In a report maintaining people are starving in Gaza, Mizrahi said, France 2 showed a Gaza resident in a food store saying: “Apparently, there is nothing, as you can see. There are no natural products for the kids. There is no milk. There is nothing here.”

But, upon closer inspection, shelves filled with food can be seen in the reflection of a refrigerator door.

Wow! Some people are horribly cruel to think this video is a fake. well, i guess we can assume the holocaust was a fake or at the very least it was six thousand not six millions jews that died. Saying six million jews died under Hitler regime have tended to benefit them very much to have a free pass to break UN resolutions.

I came across another France 2 report of the civiliam casualties in Gaza - this one showing what appears to be three dead infants being placed in a row.

I don't speak french (I'd followed the link from another article) and wasn't going to watch the whole thing.... then something struck me as really weird.

About 17 seconds into this video:

http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KspriAl5dno

a very familiar blanket appears - it seems to be the same one that was partially covering the body of this particular "victim."

I noticed the blanket from the original video - because I found it a strange thing for the doctors to leave. Even if the family brought the victim to the hospital wrapped in the blanket - the doctors would have quickly disposed of it to see the extent and nature of the injuries. They would also remove it for sanitary reasons.

Perhaps it's a common pattern and colouring for blankets in Palestine? But perhaps someone with better computer skills than I can compare patterns or something.

It kinda LOOKS the same, at least? And adds another straw of doubt to an already incredulous video.

No big shock here - CNN is on the same level as the BBC these days with the Israel hatred. We can only expect more of this crap to come. It seems that more than 50% of American people have a taste for the liberal side of things these days. Lets hope Israel can make it thru the next 4 years.

It's interesting to note - laying aside whether or not the video is fake - that so much lather is being generated over the supposed killing of a Palestinian child by a supposed Israeli rocket attack

vs.

the coverage of Israeli children being killed by a Palestinian rocket attack.

Obviously from the degree of coverage, the fate of the Palestinian child seems to be the object of greater sentiment in the news media than similar fates of Israeli children.

Dr. Gupta is also the medical correspondent for one of my local TV stations (WBZ in Boston), and they annoucned that he would not be presenting any reports, particularly those that might effect Obama health policy, between now (at the time last Friday) and when the next Surgeon General is confirmed.

Perhaps CNN has a similar policy and they believe commenting on an obviously faked medical procedure could be seen as an interpretation of Obama's foreign policy?

Shouldn't Dr. Sanjay Gupta, CNN's Chief Medical Correspondent and future(?) US Surgeon General have weighed in on this matter by now? CNN's reputation is at stake, after all.

The resolution of the whole conflict is completely in Hamas’ control. Formally recognize Israel’s right to exist and stop launching rockets. Who could support IDF actions against Gaza after that?

The fact that Hamas won’t back off must mean this situation is intentional. The root cause is probably money. Hamas leaders and gang members make a lot of it from skimming foreign aid, smuggling, and extortion. How can it not be in their interests to want this to continue and to use every opportunity to continue to produce and export stories of their own grief?

After 3 generations of this conflict, it should be fairly obvious to the Palestinians that the current approach is not working.

58. Sahar Charara wrote:
these are human beings 4 God’s sake!
… are you?

Peter responds: Yes, I am very much a human being, which is why I am just as concerned about all the innocent Israelis that, for the last three years, lived in fear or were killed horribly when Palistinian rockets were launched against them as acts of terror, and why I fully support a sovereign nation defending itself against terror.

Is that you, Rekha, because it sounds just like her again. Oh, the poor poor terrorists are dying. Maybe if they don't launch unprovoked attacks on innocent civilians or allow the hiding of weapons among their homes and schools, they wouldn't be dying now.
