In Defense of Conrad Black
The US Justice Department’s attack on former media mogul Conrad Black is an object lesson in judicial arrogance and overreach, writes PajamasXpress blogger Roger Kimball. He calls the trial and recent sentencing of Black to 6 1/2 years in prison for obstruction of justice and fraud “not only a private tragedy but also a dangerous public judicial trend.”
