Its going to be a real comedy for the next four years. Its almost laughable , if it weren't for the seriousness of the economy, and the world situation . What we have with Obama is another Jimmy Carter with the Clinton's pulling the strings. This cant be good. You can bet Intelligence and the Military will be hurt.

Hillary, and obama have been working together from the first. I don't think the republicans are going to go for such a transparent tactic.

They are playing up her supporters again, to rubber stamp obama's/circles agendas, none of which are good for the nation. You note that the carrot involved Bill giving up his sources and control of his own foundation/supporters/funding, to place Hillary into the slot offered. A setup amoung thieves{no honor}

The newyork dinner{which the cardinal said was the capital of the world, and look who runs it as well}, where they had tried to hubbie up, and seem okeedokee as if they are the future of the nation/world together, with all the forces that were represented there who have orcastrated not only the war, but the economic woe's. To get their people into power.

I find it enlightening that their control of the stockexchange/wallstreet is enough so they can simulate artificial falls when George was pushing the free market with the 20, and it then went back up when obama, and his staff announced their own economic recovery plan with another 700 billion or so. To begger the nation further, and invalidate us as a nation economicly even more. The infrostructure plans remind me of what the socialists of nazi germany had done before world war 2.

Hillary, and Bill, are going to get a shock when she gives up her senate seat officialy, and then finds her semi promised position filled by another. Their doing what they are to destroy the last of the system, as they will no longer need it once officialy in office.

Don't forget his one million person police force, that will be better funded/equiped then the military, which by the way, is going to get their funding cut, the reason being it costs to much, so the question i would ask then, is if it costs to much, then where are you getting the money to fund/equip the new national police force from? as well as making us weaker, and more vulnrable to external/internal threats as well.

The main internal threat being the one's who will be in power soon, and making all these changes to suppress the rest of us with, to keep themselves there in power, when we all find out their real motives/agendas.

This article and the comments are not what we need now, a bunch of people trying to blow more hot air than the other group. Obama will have his chance to screw up the country just like Bush and we will have our chance to vote again in two years, until January 20th, nothing has actually been done and no laws have been passed.

As for the jackass that said Americans were not attacked before 9/11 then you need to go back and read some history because we were attacked time and time again (Cole, Trade Center the first time). The world is a dangerous place and unless we start coming together as Americans we are doomed to failure.

There are going to be a lot of bad decisions made and maybe even some good ones too, but we must stay involve and let our congressman/woman know how we feel. If they screw up too badly then toss them out in 2010 and do the same for Obama in 2012, but until that time shut up and get your own house in order.

Pay off your debt, get involved with your kids to make sure that they are well informed citizens of the greatest country known to man and give back to the community. The saddest thing that came out of this whole campaign was that certain people didn't bother to give to charity. Where is the compassion for helping your neighbor. The sad part is that charity is going to get harder and harder to come by when people need it the most, so instead on whining about this and that get off your @$$ and help someone.

Just a wild@$$ crazy guy that has spent his life in the service of his country and is sick and tired of the constant noise back and forth. We are at war, so where is the unity of purpose? Where is the willingness on the homefront to sacrifice anything? You want to impress me, hop you fat butt in that gas guzzling SUV and go buy some turkeys and fixings for the nearest vet center or orphanage. That is change I can believe in!!!

[...] Obama moves to the center Obama is making some interesting picks for his cabinet, tapping into the experience of the Clinton adminsitration. Ironic that he campaigned for CHANGE, and we are recycling something old. I guess experience does matter. Also, when he said , YES WE CAN, he really meant WE, as he seems ready to pick Hillary for Secretary oF State. If you think you understand this guy, then hats off to you. Still feels like an incredible roll of the diceto me by a jittery American electorate who was reassured over and over and over and over about the virtues of Obama by the mainstream media and were finally numbed into submission by the crashing economy. Some interesting speculation below about who Obama really is below. http://pajamasmedia.com/blog/conservatives-pleasantly-surprised-by-obamas-rumored-picks/2/ [...]

UNIONS: FROM FAIR TO FASCIST
"Card check" legislation means it will be labor unions that will be unfairly exploiting American working families. That is fascism, not freedom. More at this link:

Tom Daschle isn't delighting conservatives, for one. Hillary isn't delighting anyone, left or right. Obama can tack to a more centrist post, but he is still going to have to deal with the dem-led congress, who will be very vulnerable in terms of re-election if no actual change is produced.

I don't really follow the line of pragmatism of obama being good though. If he can throw his entire base under the train once he gets elected, that's a very bad sign, because it shows that gaining and retaining power is much more important than being truthful or having character. It might lead to more of the poland thing...promising one thing in private, and recanting under pressure.

We still can't say anything till he starts to govern though. All those moderates mean nothing if he pushes through policy that is liberal.
