I don’t know what all the fuss is about. Obama is GREAT!!! Did you see that pic of him in his shorts without a shirt? Ooo-la-la! What’s not to like???
He’s so cool he does Leno. He parties every Wednesday and all the cool dudes are there. $100 a pound steak. Meat fit for a King. Michelle is so great with those arms and her great love for America. How bout Bo? What more could one want???

To Peter the Bubblehead: while Bill Clinton and others suspected Hussein of having a WMD program, they didn’t have enough intel to say for sure. And Clinton certainly didn’t have enough to even contemplate taking out Hussein. After 9/11, especially from when Afghanistan was invaded over the Taliban’s refusal to turn over bin Laden, there was much greater intel coming in from the area and pretty much all of it was pointing away from there being any Iraqi WMD program left or Hussein having any connections whatsoever to al-Qaeda, both of which were cornerstones for justifying a preemptive invasion to remove Hussein as a grave, mortal and/or imminent threat.

The invasion was never more than the fulfillment, using post 9/11 fear and anger as a cover, of a long standing policy wish by the now defunct Partners for a New American Century (”PNAS”), an American Enterprise Institute affiliated neocon boys club whose members peppered Bush’s cabinet, and included Cheney, Rumsfeld, Richard Perle, and and Paul Wolfowitz for starters. When Clinton was President, the PNAC sent him a letter asking him to take out Hussein, which Clinton wisely ignored. Needless to say, the next President was not so wise (to see the letter, as well as who signed off on it, just Google: PNAC letter Clinton.)

yawn . . . I got trashed in the comments as usual. I’m not a lefty. I’m a centrist, but none of you believe that.

Apparently, when someone makes fun of Obama, I’m supposed to just think it’s all in good fun. Yeah, I remember how you guys cried foul when Bush was skewered by the Left.

Personally, I think anyone who is extreme on the right or on the left is an idiot. Yes – that includes some of you people. A level-headed approach that listens to both sides is the only hope we have. The Right has some decent ideas, but a lot of stupid ones. Same for the Left. But then we have sites like this and KOS which propagate hate and lies.

As if anyone cared.

You seem to believe the ends justify the means.

They do. I’ve been in management long enough to know that fear and intimidation are (sometimes) justifiable techniques.

Plus, by their (al Qaeda’s) own doctrine, it’s either them, or us. I vote us.

If this was about parking tickets, I’d feel differently. But it isn’t; it’s about the survival of Western civilization. Sometimes, you gotta be a sumbitch to survive.
