Obama is leading, 207 electoral votes to 135 for McCain 11/04/08, 8:00 pm Pacific - polls close in CA but there are still numerous people in line who haven't voted yet, promised the polls will stay open until everyone votes. National news coverage returns to the air, WA-OR-CA are all blue, Obama is declared the winner. My my they counted those votes fast, especially considering that the precints wouldn't even deliver the ballot boxes to the registrars until about 10:30 pm... Feel better now?
