my wife drives a 2000 sable with over 130,000 miles with no serious repairs needed at this time. however we had planned to buy another car in 2008 and was considering another ford or mercury. but will be looking at something else because of ford's stand to support gay rights. all i can say to ford motor co. is stick your head in the sand and see where it gets you.

I know about and am currently participating in the boycott of Ford. I have owned two Ford cars in the past, both of which had over 100,000 miles on them and were fairly good cars. I am currently shopping for a new car and will not even consider a purchasing a Ford. I feel very sorry for current Ford employees who see their company going down the tubes and hope it is not too late for someone to step in and turn around this once great American corporation.

I had been a Ford owner for most of my driving life (30 years or so) and I've also been a member of AFA for about 10 years or so. It came very easy to boycott Ford on several fronts: 1) because when I finally did have a problem with one of them (an F150) Ford would not lift one finger to help me get it fixed and back on the road again; 2) on another occasion, they wanted to charge me more than $1,100.00 to fix a problem that ultimately cost me less than $30.00 to fix myself (and I was still charged $150.00 for them to give me that $1,100.00 estimate); so when 3) they decided they wanted to support the gay population with billions of their advertising dollars, it was easy for me to pull my support of them. The billions they pour into advertising to gay community is far more than their meager attempt to "allow" religious groups to meet on their properties.

I can't wait till they go out business.

We've own two Fords for several years, my wife's Windstar and my beloved Mustang convertible. However, when it came time to buy my son a car, we avoided Ford because of their determined support for such an unprecedented change in basic morality.

Ford execs seem to lack basic business sense. The first rule of advertising is not to lose the loyal customers you already had.

I think the results of the boycott are great, they prove to America's so called elite that the (hard working, moral American man and woman) still have a voice that can be understood, if in no other place than the (rich and politicians) wallet. Our voice should be just as effective in the upcoming elections!

We have always bought Fords, but may not in the future. I support the AFA and that may affect my decision next time. My brother just bought a new truck and it wasn't a Ford because of the boycott.
