The irresponsible mindset that produced this result leaves me no choice but to beleive that our future is one of anarchy, civil unrest, and misery.

Common sense? Heh… the Dems have elections to win!

We need to start seeing and talking in terms of how this element in America (parts of the judicial system that coddle the terrorist captives) is part of “the enemy”. They want traditional USA to be broken down, then replaced with something else. This Supreme Court action specifically introduces confirmed, hardened terrorists into our society. I think it is safe to presume that giving them rights to our court system means they will be brought into USA to be processed further. This will result in their mixing into our society to some degree, albeit, mostly in some prison. Also, there will be a great amount of propaganda against our fighting these terrorists. By me, clearly these people are part of the enemy, and we should expect them to do these kinds of things. Why do we talk in terms of “this is a shocking decision by… ” It’s not shocking, but expected of those that want our country to be brought low.

I disagree with McCain on drilling in Anwar, but I believe that 4 1/2 months before an election in which every Congressman is up for election, as well as 1/3 of our Senators (the Senate is currently 51-50 in favor of the Democrats) and an absolutely enraged populace over high gas prices, changes will be made without his support.

The Congress may even overturn this Supreme Court decision with legislation if enough Angry citizens call them.

Congressmen and Senators pay attention to voter ONLY before an election. The rest of the time they’re responsive to the generous foreigners (Arabs, Japanese, et al) and American special interests that so kindly donate money to their campaigns. Money is great but re-election depends on the voters.

With this ruling the USA is in some deep political s**t. Since the liberal judges in the US Supreme Court have screwed us all with this dangerous ruling it’s going to be up to the Congress to make a law reversing this ruling, if such a thing is even feasible.

The Supreme Court is Anti-American!! Give me a break and go jump off a cliff.

The main feature of this decision is being missed by many.

It says to the military: Don’t take prisoners.

It says: If you do, you’ll have to worry that (a) they will demand expensive trials that will bankrupt you and (b) they will will their trial and escape.

It says to the military: Kill everyone you find. Then everything is nice and simple.

Is that really the message the liberals on the Court wanted to send?

What we do now with the Gitmo detainees is to have their nations of origin demand extradtion. Send them back to the tender mercies of their own kind.

Common sense? These fruitcake lawyers in the majority don’t give a damn if your sons and daughters in the military are killed by the terrorists they set free… their asses will never be in the line of fire (or so they believe).
