“Doorbusters” seem to be the coin of the realm this season. A review of the post Thanksgiving sales announcements for Friday … the earliest “Doorbuster” will start at JC Penney’s starting at 4:00 AM! – FOUR IN THE MORNING, heck, why go to bed?

Two hours later, retail giant WAL*MART will be opening its doors at 6:00 AM and then it seems evertone else is starting Friday at 8:00 AM.

One of the best deals I saw advertised was a Sylvania 20″ LCD TV with a built-in digital tuner. Normally $299.99 for $197.00 at KMART, the “Doorbusting” begins with limited quantities and for five hours only at 6:00 AM

Why are some people still running to the brick & mortar shops?

Could it be nostalgia?

There is no place like brick and mortar for the thrill of instant gratification.
