HillaryCare is socialized medicine at its worst. The very doctor-patient relationship is being replaced by an ignorant group of cost cutters and fools. We know that if the federal government sold beer, it would be $90 a six-pack and 90 days delivery, after the bids were let and received by the U.S. Postal Service (USPO.gov). One problem with a more (much more) socialist system is that allegedly smart people are making decisions for you and me, because we do not know how to care for ourselves and need the feds to wipe our brow, etc. Lots of etc. It is incredible how many additional functions our government has taken on that it has absolutely NO business in doing. Nonetheless, Hillary will certainly lead the charge to excess government and MORE BIG MOTHER, not Big Brother by Orwell. This is a time of the most severe challenges to our republic and a dangerous direction to put our economic, health, defense and other areas under such leadership. It is time to beat the Bushes, flush the Clintons, finish the job in Iraq and leave some sense of stability in the region, keep the Iranians from developing their true weapons of mass destruction and address the many concerns that politicians have not seen fit to attempt because of re-election cycles that now run back to back. We need a vertebrate and someone who can communicate what they are doing and why. That leaves out about 90% of the pack. I hope the voters are savvy enough to see the implications and effect of their vote in November 2008. Say no to socialism.

It is so unfortunate that the liberals … err progressives… so trust federal bureaucracies while conservatives so trust a private market which does all it can to not insure anyone who is actually sick. I know lots of people who are working at jobs they hate ONLY to get the health insurance unavailable in the failed private market.

Isn’t there a middle ground here?

Oh, and why don’t the lefties trust the Pentagon and FBI bureaucracies the same way they trust the “social welfare” ones?

The Progressive ideology places much faith in government bureaucrats. These individuals supposedly only need a little more training to become our benevolent dictators. How many people are aware of the influence of the radical socialist Saul Alinsky over the lives of both Hillary Clinton and Barak Obama? It would behoove everyone to read “Let Them Call Me Rebel: Saul Alinsky–His Life And Legacy,” by Sanford D. Horwitt. This splendid 1989 book written by a leftist author is a real eye opener. It helps explain what motivates many leaders of today’s Democratic Party. In their heart of hearts, they are truly hard core socialists.
