Jimmy the wimp idiot. He is trying to salvage any thing from his failed presidency and so probably thinks that he is looked at as some kind of peacemaker. I became a republican because of his weak, sloppy presidency. Thank God for Ronaldus Magnus, who was a great president. He had to clean up the idiot Carter's mess. Carter is a continual joke and his actions are getting worse and worse. I think he should be jailed for sedition.

I was at Panmunjom the day the Great Man and his wife crossed the Military Demarcation Line into north Korea as he began the epic journey during which he used his superlative negotiating skills to end the north Korean-provoked military crisis of 1994. The former President was vigorous, alert and keenly interested in the detailed briefings he received from both the American Embassy - Seoul, and the Commanding General of US Forces Korea. Jimmy Carter is a great man and an outstanding American emissary to the world.

I'm lying through my teeth about Carter's capabilities. I was there, and Jimmy's body was there but I'm not sure where his brain was.

Carter was a doddering, senile, closed-minded coot who apparently completely disregarded the critical information he received, and who treated with disdain and a cavalier, elitist attitude those who provided direct support in preparation for the Pyongyang trip. His inept attempts at diplomacy set the stage for the many north Korean-induced crises in the ensuing years. He brings continued dishonor and disgrace to the office he so badly damaged during his ill-managed administration.

Mr. Carter should confine his public activities to helping build houses for the poor...and nothing more.

The problem with Carter, I think, is that he has bought into a false image of Christianty (he says he is one) and a false image of Christ (distorted) that is based on a selective reading of the Bible. Jesus spoke the truth, but NEVER pacified EVIL or 'negotiated' with EVIL people. He was uncompromising! Just because he is LOVE and always spoke of Loving, doesn't mean he tolerated EVIL or minimized it...OR compromised. He did not. We do not have to LOVE EVIL! Carter is a fool and he does more damage than good. Would he have us 'love' Hitler, in the manner that he is demonstrating HIS love? I think not. I belive he is in dangerous territory. He is in league with the Devil, and the Devil will have his due. Carter, for all of his good works with Habitat with Humanity, is going to do much more harm, than good.

How do you spell traitor? J. Carter. Meeting with terrorist should be considered as treason! It is incredible that he was ever elected president. He is a disgrace to the office of president and should be arrested for treason.

How much longer do we have to watch Jimmah try to reinvent himself from the one term doofus of the late 70's ?

Last I heard, he was going to appeal to his good buddy Omar al-Bashir (you know, the guy who paid the janjaweed to slaughter people in Darfur ?) because he was getting the cold shoulder and couldn't go some places in Sudan he wanted to go.

I'm surprised he didn't hop on over to Zimbabwe to kiss Mugabe on the cheek.

Another key role, certifying the "legitimacy" of one of the elections of Oogoe Chavez.

Many Iranians still hate Jimmah as they believe he had a key role in the rise of Ayatollah Khomeini.

I am at a loss to wonder what this puny intellectual expects to accomplish that has been considered or attempted by every US administration including his own since 1948

If Carter goes to Syria, he violates the Logan Act, he's broken the law, and he can go to JAIL. I have e-mailed my two state Senators and the DOJ about this. On anouthe note, I'm ashamed that he is an Ex-President of The United States of America.

That old coot can do as he likes, same as the rest of us. He's free to travel, say strange things, and behave badly if he wishes. It's too bad he wishes to do all those things so publicly and frequently.

I'm not exactly thrilled about taxpayer money being spent on his visits to the world's biggest cretins. As a living president, he has a secret service detail and support from our embassies and other government assets. Our Consumer Product Safety Commission can't get enough money for badly needed inspections of toxic imports, especially for children's toys, but Mister Peanut can go off spending our cash while working against us at the same time.

I say we cut him off, let him hire his own bodyguards. If he's gonna be dumb, then he better be tough. I won't go as far as saying that he deserves a free IED or suicide attack from his pals, but I won't shed any tears if bad things happen to him while he's hanging out with his murderous friends.

Has Jimmy Carter been examined for Alzheimer's and other mental health and nervous system disorders? If he is ill my money's on CJD, aka brain-wasting disease.
