There’s an ugly picture starting to develop here. Torture was used on detainees to help substantiate a nonexistent link between Al Qaida and Iraq in order to justify the invasion of Iraq.

IF that’s the case, I say round up the whole administration and their enablers, put them on trial and when found guilty, sentance them to some shithole like Abu Ghraib. And let’s do everything we can to make sure Cheney lives a long time behind bars.

Pastor of Muppets: in your scenario, you did not provide authorization nor did you have legal oversight of your boss (unlike Pelosi and friends over the CIA and Administration). Your scenario is seriously flawed and is a poor analogy. Pelosi is trying to have it both ways.

Pastor of Muppets, saying that the Bush legacy will be sealed after a “torture” trial or “war crimes” trial or whatever is like saying that OJ was vindicated by his Not Guilty verdict in the murder trial. Everyone knows the trial and the verdict were a joke.
