It seems Dick Cheney, an admirable straight shooter, can get nowhere with the press. No matter what he does or says they spin it or ignore it. It is interesting to see the novelty of a candidate reaching out to bloggers. I look forward to seeing how candidate/blog relations build over time. Congratulations on the invite Dan. Good for you.

I don’t agree with McCain on a few subjects (immigration, the AGW hysteria), but in terms of “character”, it’s simply no contest between him and Shrillary, not to mention snObama the Machine Messiah. If I were a US citizen I would not only vote for him but donate the legal maximum to his campaign and volunteer.

Do not expect that the press will ever give credit to a republican unless said republican is running against another republican and earns the sobriquet of “Maverick.”

Great post, I’m surprised at his performance, though he has a long way to go to earn my vote.
