I have been watching Charlie Gibson since he began on Good Morning America and always admired him and trusted him. I was so disapolinted in him with the interview with Sarah Palin. He really turned me off and actually pissed me off. I thought he was too tough and very judgemental with her. What a turn off you were Charlie and so unprofessional. He was also condesending. Total turn off Charlie. I thought he was a conservative is he a Democrat? Has his new position gone to his head?
This interview with Charlie Gibson is yet another attempt on the part of the mainstream media to manipulate politics in America, rather than report news and present factual information to their viewers. Although, they are entitled to their opinions privately, they are responsible to present the news in a factual and unbiased manner. The question is, how long will the American people tolerate this trash journalism? It is high time that those who are concerned with journalistic integrity start speaking up and quit supporting these attempts to manipulate public opinion. Interviews such as these are no different than the state sponsored media propaganda of the communists, socialists, and the other despots around the world. I hope Americans are smart enough to rise to the challenge and protect the freedom of the press, by requiring that their journalists be honest, unbiased, and factual; or present themselves PLAINLY as not journalists, but rather editorialists!
