The msm incompetence is not new, it has been going on for all of my adult life and I am 64. The 60's seems to have begun their sinking into irrelevance. As time has gone by they have become more arrogant and irrelevant. They are pretty much DOA now. Couldn't happen to a nicer bunch of marxist soon enough.

What's ur problem with race? Is it a taboo for you? Is it 'race-baiting' if I ask you what's ur ethnic background?

vivo:

"My comment was not the lowest form of communication, it was directed to the lowest common denominator, people like YOU!"

I realize it was a response to 99, and it was STILL race-baiting. You can't control your biases to save your life.

126. rachel peepers:

"Vivo, Sport, just keep telling yourself that decent, intelligent voters don’t care what color is running. You actually might have something there. But, hey, wait a cotton picking second.

96% of your black brother and sisters voted for Obama."

They are not YOUR brothers & sisters?

Interesting.

Apparently you don't know that every rule has its EXCEPTION. These black voters are the exception to the rule in this election.

They need more than a GED at Stanford, you know?
Your typing class is not enough.

128. Now and Then:

126. rachel peepers:

"Stanford, right? You go to Stanford? Are you a natural-born American citizen or a naturalized American citizen or just visiting?"

Regardless, she's in the wrong sanitarium.

132. GB:

"vivo wrote: “Decent, intelligent people don’t care what color is running.”

Moderators:

I think that rule #6 ought to contain a comment regarding this kind of race-baiting. Vivo’s comment is the lowest form of communication"

That was my answer to 99. Miss Yum Yum:

"As badly as Mr. Obama is running the country and as much damage to our economy, our national interest and our national security he seems to be doing, I think the shame of all this mess is the damage that Mr. Obamb is going to do when the next candidate of color tries to run for President. I imagine that it’s going to be another couple of hundred years before that is allowed to happen again, that a person of color is encouraged to run for President, and that is really the biggest crime of all."

GB: do you know HOW to read threads?

I'll believe that there's "Trouble in Paradise" when a reporter at Barry's next press conference asks the following question:

"Mr. President, Captain Connie Rhoades on August 28th , just 2 days ago, filed for a "temporary restraining order" against you. Captain Rhoades, whose case was filed in West Texas, is asserting that you are Constitutionally ineligible to serve as CIC. This TRO is exactly the same as Major Cook's."

"My question, Sir, what steps will you take to satisfy the persistent rumors of eligibility?"

#134....I do not know much about him, but republican Marco Rubio has done exactly what you suggested. We will see in 2010 if it pays dividends.

Its nice that everyone's feeling a vondication rush, but take a step back and swill this awfully bitter vindication for a bit. And put the party hats away.

In 2008 the democrats put up an inexperienced, left-leaning but very articulate, appealling man that won--over a honorable military man who regretably could not explaint to anyone--even himself--why it mattered if he won. The GOP simply had no one the public could trust. Nothing has changed. The GOP overall still has no vision other than re-gaining power for its own use. "I'm not as bad as them," is about as far as the GOP goes.

After losing congress in 2006, we might be lucky enough to get some balance in 2010, but effective control is beyond our reach as long as GOP congressmen fly off to foreign junkets and vote for pork like everyone else.

There are to be sure a lot of dissapointed voters out here: but don't count those votes just yet. They need someone to vote FOR; someone they can trust. Where are those candidates?

PS to Peepers: you might actually be on to something--finally--in that the GOP ought to try talking to people about normal concerns and in normal language, and stop looking at wine lists with pundits and reporters. They won't of course. They have lost contact with real people. But is a good idea.
