Mark Steyn is right to point out that the Republican “moderates” have damaged the party’s credibility with its more secular voters. The Ayn Rand inclined types saw no reason to support John McCain and therefore turned their attentions toward Barack Obama. Heck, if nothing else the latter gentleman is a lot younger and better looking. The GOP has zilch chance of future success if it continues to behave like Democrats regarding economic matters.
