Schwarzenegger to Back McCain, Campaigning Together in LA Thursday
California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who promised earlier this month not to endorse a presidential candidate, has changed his tune and will now “recommend” John McCain and publicly declare he is voting for the Arizona senator. Schwarzenegger will announce this support Thursday morning at Solar Integrated Technologies in Los Angeles where he and McCain will tour the facility together. Bill Bradley, who broke this story, has the details at his New West Notes.

1. Anthony (Los Angeles):California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger, who had promised earlier this month not to endorse a presidential candidate, has reversed field….
Not surprising. He also promised us he would be fiscally responsible.
Jan 30, 2008 - 7:40 pm 2. Bill Bradley:Who is fiscally responsible? Tom McClintock, who pushed the actual $6 billion a year hole in the California budget?
The left and the right need to drop their respective ultra-government and anti-government dogmas and get real.
Jan 30, 2008 - 8:59 pm 3. Rousselet:Ah the great Terminator is stepping up showing us what he is made of… republicans… nice delicious chewy republicans… oh well at least he isn’t endorsing Huckabee… that fascist gay bashing anti-abortion morman chump… funny, I bet if gays could get pregnant he would be pro-abortion.
Oh, well Arnold, as long as you promise not to do another movie about “Last Action Heros” and keep your paws out of cutting school funding I will pretend you are not here.
Sigh. Can’t we just get rid of Bush now?
Jan 30, 2008 - 11:52 pm 4. Kevin:Arnold lied and broke his promise. Arnold may have a big R behinf his name, but he does not have a C, as in CONSERVATIVE. McAmnesty is also not a CONSERVATIVE. Mitt Romney is the only trur conservative left.
