Sorry Mike, interesting article but I’m afraid that during these economic circumstances, gadgets, no matter how interesting they are, don’t get much traction – let’s see how the Christmas season looks like, but I am not that optimistic for the H-tech sector.

AMEN! I love buying ‘goodies’ when I can AFFORD them without going into debt and when I can’t afford ‘em, I only spend money on food, mortgage/utilities etc.

Our economy is going to tank if people can’t afford to ’spend’ a little money on the finer things in life and when the economy REALLY tanks, we can look at Russia as a prime example of ‘poverty for all’ except for the ‘elites’.

0bama will be dining on the finest meals while many people starve and live in tent cities. How nice to be KING.

I gadgets and gizmos a plenty to keep me happy in the ‘now’. Nice ASSumptions you made about me though.

BTW, my husband and I are surviving with our business even when others are folding.

Ref Delia. “my budget is hurtin’ my love of said stuffies.” Well then maybe you need to face the fact that your lack of personal drive was not strong enough to earn you an income of money to buy such luxury. That comment reflects the primary problem across America today, which I think is a lack of self-control and learning to prioritize. Necessities first, then maybe some nice things. Just my view.
