Harry, you took ALL the words right out of my mouth!!! Perhaps it's time to vote for the Libertarian Party? We can call it the party of common sense with Bob Barr at it's helm?

It will be interesting to see if Obama can win the general. It's worth noting that your tagline says "Tired of political dynasties and beltway sleaziness?" which illustrates that Obama supporters do fit into the 'elite' category who can afford to vote on changing how politics are conducted.

Unfortunately, the US is in the middle of a recession and most Americans will be voting for the candidate who they feel can do something about gas prices and putting food on the table. Obama hasn't even talked about that much. So most Americans will probably vote McCain this Nov.

Here's a link for you to consider
http://uspolitics.about.com/od/polls/l/bl_historical_approval.htm
When Bill Clinton left office he had the highest approval ratings since they started keeping track of that stuff. Higher than Reagan or Kennedy even.

Hillary got at least 48% of the popular vote, and it's not over yet. Millions of Democrats love the Clintons and always will. However Obama supporters, in their attempts to create the Clintons as monsters have completely burned bridges that will come back to haunt Obama in the fall.

Hillary for all her warts is beginning to look like the best candidate of the three. Forgetting her Clintonness she might not sell out America like the other two candidates have demonstrated. Obama will sell America out to the "Chickens coming home to roost" types that blame America first on just about anything, besides having unrepenting terrorists as friends. Also, we're waiting for him to speak on issues with real plans. McCain will continue selling America out to the environmentalists as he specifically stated on the O'reilly Factor he will not drill for domestic oil in "Pristine" areas: therefore the continuation of high gas prices; poor economy; and more money/power to foreign oil (read terrorist supporters). These two issues alone disqualify both Obama and McCain from my vote. Hillary is knowledgeable on the issues and actually has a platform. Obama keeps hoping his way to the Presidency. McCain is a Democrat in disguise of a Republican. While all this is being said I actually despise the Clintons but looking at it with two open eyes she's beginning to look more appealing each day. Even with her shenanigans and crookedness Hillary may prove to be a more effective leader than the other two unprovens. Hillary may be a crook but she's our crook in a world chock full of crooks. At this moment of time we can't afford untested unreliable leaders like Obama. McCain himself admitted he knows nothing about business.

Excellent article. All Americans should be aware of the sleazyness the Clintons would return to the White House. So, do these slimeballs disgust you....or do you embrace 'influence on sale' politics?
