To one of your own (post 13): Charity is fine and good but socialist “charity” is coerced. You’re not giving out of an altruistic spirit; you’re giving because the government takes from you.

Also, how much of the Stimulus bill involves charity? The spending bill includes money for golf carts. It gives a huge amount of money to ACORN, an organization that pretends to help the poor but which in fact wants to implement a far-left agenda (”rubbing raw” the discontent in the community in order to produce revolution). Did you know that ACORN in the 1990s wanted to force the banks to make risky home loans to poor people? Spending an enormous amount of “stimulus” money could very easily not fix the economy and in fact harm other economies. I personally believe that Obama is using the Stimulus bill as an excuse to help implement socialism. It contains way too much pork.

Also, I should have mentioned my mother [I use the term 'mother' loosely] was a left wing teat sucker. She sucked on the welfare system on and off along with her fellow stoner cohorts. My mother was a SLOB and the 100+ year old house she raised my younger brother and sister and I in [ALL from different fathers, mind you] was later CONDEMNED because it was unfit to live in.

Once my siblings and I grew up and my lazy, disgusting, whore mother didn’t have any dependents to ‘claim’ for welfare she actually made something of her life when she had to get off of her fat, stoner, skank butt and WORK.

So, when I come off a bit judgy and harsh towards people on the left leaning, bleedin’ heart spectrum, it’s because I’ve LIVED it and I don’t ever, EVER plan on REPEATING it.

Another great leftist fallacy: there are tons of people who are systematically underpaid relative to what they bring to the table. Nevermind that hardly anyone lives in “company towns” anymore where there is only one employer. Nevermind that employers typically refuse to hire people they consider “overqualified” for the job because they know those people will run off to the next either higher-paying or more in line with their interests opportunity. Nevermind that nearly the entire country has access to the internet with its dozens of websites compiling local salary information for hundreds of jobs.

No, despite all that, conservative employers “won’t pay you what your time is worth”.
