No policy wonk she, just a regular gal with values and a sense of American fun and can-do. She puts her foot down and stomps corruption when most people would just give in and start participating in it, a la Trent Lott. She's fun, energetic, optimistic, hot (republican babes are always hotter than dems), a proven leader who gets promoted fast whenever she gets in charge of anything... and she has no negatives, like Romney's haters on the evangelical side (still don't get that, I"m an evangelical and I think he's a great guy). Genius pick, I think McCain won the election when he chose her.
