The Problem Isn’t Conservatism: It’s Conservatives Who Aren’t Conservative
Republicans have forgotten who they were and can’t explain what they might be. If they aren't capable of crafting clear positions, they deserve to lose.

I don’t like anyone that is running. But I will vote for McCain the least of all evil.It seems everyone is courting fornicators, adulterers, homosexuals, liars these
days.Apparently our politicians have lost their way. Until we require honesty and accountability we continue to lose in America. The only answer is returning to
Christian values that are
currently be trampled on by our Politicians
The Republicans are losing because they have sold out the Gingrich Revolution to a bunch of careerists and grifters. Corporate America has adopted statism and now welcomes government as a “partner” — a partner with deep pockets who can “order” markets and assume legacy debts. Finally, the party pols have colluded to accept that over half the voters don’t pay taxes and that a primary goal of government is to redistribute wealth for the sake of redistribution.
Here are some platform planks for a new covenant with America:
1- English as the offical language of government; no more foreign language ballots. Health and safety directives may be bilingual.
2- Wholesale revision of the Endangered Species Act and Migratory Bird Treaty.
3- Earmarks will be vetoed unless approved item-by-item by roll call vote at which a quorum of the repsective houses is present and voting.
4- Enactment of a program to (a) cease tax subsidies for wasteful fuels and unproved technologies — deductions only; (b) have 40% of America’s electrical generation provided by nuclear energy withing 15 years and amend environmental laws accordingly; (c) spend transportation taxes on transportation needs and not “demonstration projects,” bike paths, light rail, heavy rail, HOV lanes, and other social engineering boondoggles; and (d) eliminate federal bans on drilling for oil and replace with reasonable regulation of safety.
5- Criminalize release of government-sponsored intellectual property, without necessity of proof of intent to harm the US. Negligence is a good enough standard to convict.
6- Eliminate “citizen standing” under federal statutes. If you have suffered direct economic or bodily harm you may sue. Otherwise you can push your agenda only at the ballot box.
7- Tax foundations on ordinary and capital gains not actually spent on charitable functions –a five year averaging (like we used to have for individual taxpayers) should be allowed to even out business cycles. New donations will not be taxable.
8- Everyone pays some tax on income — even if only 1 or 2%.
9- Repeal McCain-Feingold.
10- Require every American to have health insurance or be on assigned risk or Medicaid. Premiums will depend on income and will be paid from tax refunds and EITCs. You will have to submit proof of insurance for the taxpayer(s) and every dependent claimed. The poor (as determined by their tax returns)will be enrolled in Medicaid without premium, as they are now.
11-(a) Repeal that portion of the 14th Amendment that makes persons born here citizens; (b)abolish dual citizenship; (c)provide for automatic deportation of resident aliens who do not apply for and receive American citizenship within 10 years; (d) aggressively police the borders and the workplaces (give OSHA something useful to do); (e) bring in aliens based on merit (right now the legal preference is for unskilled workers)under a generous work visa program.
12- Limit federal educational spending to block grants to states and to administering standardized tests(and publishing the results).Make private El-Hi tuition deductible if the school beats the state average on standardized tests.
