In SW Fl. the media throws every senior into a panic, lines at the pumps are blocks away, shelters are open, all for the "hurricane that never happened" I understand the danger in "not" heeding good advice.. but with todays technology, you would think that the onslaught of "hype" i have witnessed the last 72 hrs would have been kept in check This would have been a great “post” Hurricane Fay story..

The internet has decreased the (virtual) distance between people across the planet. Consider the expected population in 50 years. Now look at how hostile people are on this site. Turn up the temperature in a crowded room (or plane) and see what happens after an extended period of time. I sure hope Boris is wrong, because we'll do each other in if we get even a few degrees of warming in that timeframe. But we'll probably do that anyway, :) BTW if you're going to debate you should use the LCD of language. Boris is smart as are the others that post here.
