As Lee said, the elites are able to get away with luxuriating in ‘progressive’ views without having to worry about the consequences. They claim to be against genocide, but their highbrow appeals haven’t stopped the killing in Darfur or anywhere else. And if the only way to stop a genocide is US military action, then that genocide will quickly become reclassified as a complex tribal/cultural issue in which the US has no business interfering.

No matter how evil a particular regime or dictator is, if their interests are opposed to those of the United States then the Samantha Powers of the world will make common cause with them.

The serve no allegiance to America in particular nor to her interests in general. In essence, they are Timeshare Americans. Happy to vacation here on a more or less permanent basis, as long as they don’t have to mix with the “townies”.

So, it makes sense that “their” candidate makes promises he has no intention of keeping to the American voting public, because he isn’t running to serve their interests. He is not running to be THEIR President, he is running to be governor of the US region of their utopian OneWorld nation.

The OneWorld MetastasizedMedia also doesn’t really care what they put forth to you, because the truth is irrelevant. Fauxtography, forged documents, plagiarized quotes, phony articles, …no matter.

If the truth does not serve them, then replacement facts will do just as well.

The disease is rampant and it infects us all on a daily basis. The “message” is what matters. Reuters, the BBC, the AP, CBS, ABC, CNN, NBC, the NY Times, LA Times….all deliver the message on a daily basis.

Hillary is a “monster” not because she won’t deliver the same message, but because she wants to fight to be the messenger, and one has already been anointed.

The disease is not that they want America to be liked, they have poisoned that well for most of the last 4 decades. It’s that they want America to be subsumed, to give fealty and to become just like them, snivleing toadies to the OneWorld Socialists.

Some of them happen to live in America and make token obeisance to American values when required, but they think nationhood is oppressive and outmoded in and of itself, and America (in past incarnations of this tribe, spelled “Amerikkka”) is a vaguely defined “culture” which they think has some valuable components (not NASCAR or flags on the front lawn), which can be folded into and tinkered with until it fits into the transnational “progressive” zeitgeist.

And no, they are not ashamed of this. They are only ashamed of those aspects of America which won’t fit into their brave new world.
