honestly, I doubt we’ll find much to laugh about with Obama. Already, he’s talking about re-instituting the moratorium on offshore drilling. Hats off to all the pro-drilling people who voted for him. The gas prices go down and you forgot just as quickly as that. D’Oh!bama.

I think Obama will eventually be an enormous target for comedy but not right away. I think you can make fun of his supporters who are easy to feel superior to. Once its PC enough to point out how gullible they are it will open up the opportunity to make fun of the source of their absolute loyalty.

Good comedy is not for the weak anyway. It tends to level the hypocrisies of polite society.

We’re already poking fun at Obama. Before he’s even sworn in the jabs are starting and I’m just as guilty as the rest for poking fun at the president elect on my radio shows. Why? Because he is a politician and politicians are easy targets. He’s not perfect, far from it. There will always be something he’ll say or do that will be fodder for the laughter cannons. From parody to outright slams he’s painted a target on himself…the Whitehouse Seal.
