McCain is trying to have his cake and eat it too. Anytime one excepts as valid the premises of the left they are sanctioning whatever cause it may be as legitimate. McCain is too concerned with popularity and not with principle, which is why many Republicans are wary of voting for him. For crying out loud the guy voted in favor of banning the incandescent light bulb in favor of the cfl mercury vapor filled ones, and he had the ignorant audacity to say that it is a better bulb. McCain needs to abandon popularity politics rooted in junk science and collectivism and start embracing reason and liberty completely and unapologetically.
For the mushy middle, I think your four simple points are spot on, Victor.
I would only add a point #5, especially for Reagan Democrats and fence-sitting Evangelicals: “I will appoint judges who will enforce the constitution, not “refine” it. My opponent is comfortable living in a world where judges continually refine words into new meanings, and so we have habeas corpus rights now for terrorist enemies, marriage rights for homosexuals, and no rights for the unborn. I’m not comfortable with Barack’s Brave New World, and will appoint judges who believe that words simply mean what they say, and that voters should decide whether or not the constitution should be changed.”
McCain has finally beaten out Bob Dole, Gerald Ford and Bush 41 when he ran against Clinton as the worst Pres.RePub. Canidate ever .
Oboma has too lose since McCain has no Balls to win in a hot contest .
