You fail to understand that intelligence is always actionable, and there has never been any evidence provided by Bush that he tried to take action on any of the dozens upon dozens of warnings against terrorist attacks. He clearly did not try to protect America, he simply allowed us to be attacked so as to “generate an appetite for war” he claimed was “the problem” he faced in garnering support to invade Afghanistan – see page 209 of the 9-11 Commission report.
All your blather on this blog attempts – and fails – to do is provide excuses for Bush, whereas you’ve never shown us how he and his administration were working to the best of their abilities to provide the top notch defense that America deserved.

Why are rumours of Bushs cabinet going around such as condaleisa rice calling her relatives on 9-10 telling them to “Not take a flight on 9-11? among all the others that have jumped ship with the bush administration? There are too many implications that are uncertain except for the facts: 1) bush did the exact same thing as his father did when each got in office.Sending our troops over to protect their precious oil and now look at the prices.2) They are allied with the Saudis who control oil and prices. England and other global countries are outraged and finally an investigation is being done.3)bush sends everyone to war for his and cheneys special interest but vetoes a bill that would help Children recieve health care which I have worked my life away for and cannot get in 4 years! I Love America but hate sin.

Jon Gold tries frequently this same garbage at Screw Loose Change, and he fails equally heroically there, too.

Troofers are simply misguided members of a faith-based cult of baseless conspiracy fantasies.

News Flash to the American Public:

In his latest diatribe aimed at Europe, Bin Laden admitted complete responsibility for the 9/11 attacks. He did the same in a videotape unearthed during the Afghan invasion.
Of course, Bin Laden could be working for Dick Cheney.

If it is aluminum then this is a hypothesis to be tested. NIST wrote,

“Pure liquid aluminum would be expected to appear silvery. However, the molten metal was very likely mixed with large amounts of hot, partially burned, solid organic materials, which can display an orange glow…”

Steven Jones did experiments to verify this he concluded: “This is a key to understanding why the aluminum does not “glow orange” due to partially-burned organics “mixed” in (per NIST theory) – because they do NOT mix in! My colleague noted that it is like oil and water – organics and molten aluminum do not mix. The hydrocarbons float to the top, and there burn – and embers glow, yes, but just in spots. The organics clearly do NOT impart to the hot liquid aluminum an “orange glow” when it falls, when you actually do the experiment! We conclude that the falling metal which poured out of WTC2 is NOT aluminum. Not even aluminum “mixed” with organics as NIST theorizes”

This whole thread is amusing to say the least. The only truth is that you cannot argue with conspiracy theorists. I know. I argued with my grandmother for many, many years about the JFK assasination. She was a ravenous reader of every book that came out about the assasination. I would point out that the “sources” are never named if the claim is they are alive, or if dead the source said it to someone else, or rarely to the author, or so the claim went. None of which can be proven true, and worse proven false. Despite this bit of information she still clung to the conspiracy to the grave.
No matter how many credible experts, who give the facts openly, state the reality of what happened and have all the models to show that indeed the planes caused the collapse and it was planned by and carried out by AQ, it will never placate the “Truthers.” Even those who “support” the truthers claims only offer their opinion and “gut-feelings.” That is not evidence. I could spend the rest of my life debunking each and every conspiracy theory about 9/11, but there are more important issues to deal with than engaging in a never ending circular argument.
The failure of our intelligence community is an old one. The bureaucratic in-fighting is as old as dirt. Even if the agencies had been able to share information there is no guarantee that 9/11 would have been discovered. If you don’t have all the pieces to the puzzle and are able to discern that the pieces belong to the same puzzle, you are not going to have the answer. The incompetence is about inter-agency cooperation, not whether we would have known about 9/11. Fact, the enemy is capable of being effective, and no agency, not the CIA, MI5, KGB/FGB, Mossad, FBI, NSA, etc. can be right every time all the time. Our agencies were still suffering from Clinton’s policy, just as our armed forces are suffering now from the “Peace Dividend.” The one thing we as citizens have to do is to make sure we elect leaders who understand the threat before us and implement policies that enable us to engage these threats.

I’m wondering how the Truthers can live in a state that they claim is run by an evil Cabal. Why not move away, far from Bush? If I believed in such a conspiracy, I would either hunker down in obscurity or move to a foreign country like France or something. Think about it – if they are right, the government killed off thousands of people for the most petty of reasons, making them wannabe Hitlers. Why on earth would you want to be anywhere near them?

Don’t know where you bought your degree Dallas Mike. But from experience as a welder and a heater at the Hot Strip MIll Furnaces in local steel mill for years, I know the melting point of steel. The furnaces have burners below and above the slabs entering the furnaces and they are heated as they are pushed through the furnaces. After going through these heating zones they are pushed onto a heart, where there are no skids below them. The heat on the heart heats the skid marks from the water pipes where thay are pushed through the furnaces removing the cold spots. These pipe are six inches in daimeter with a hole about one inch in diameter for pressurized water to continually flow through. The size of the slabs of steel are from 28″ to 49 1/2 inchse in width and from 4 1/2′ in to 10 ” in thickness. We heated these slabs to a temperarure of 2440 degrees in the soaking zones and 2420 degrees on the hearth. If the mill went down for any reason we had to cut back on the heat untill the mill started back up. If they sit to long without being pushed out they would start sweating and weld together. This would result in the mill having to shut down for several days to cool down enough to go inside the furnaces. These slabs were rolled through several mills until the thickness ordered by the customer was reached and then coiled up. We used natural gas, coke gas, and fuel oil to heat these furnaces. During extreme cold weather the gas company would cut off our gas supply and we would switch over to fuel oil. We had to mix this with high pressure steam in order to heat the furnaces. There was nothing in the plane fuel or inside the building to heat steel to a melting point, yet steel was seen pouring out of the upper part of these towers. enough said about this matter. you think one way and I think another.
