Nice requiem JED. Sad but true.

Wanna add, though late, I sure hope people realize they better be careful they’re not taken by Fox like Obama-fools are with the MainStain media. Be wary and keep your filters and BS detectors on. It’s better than the others, has some good voices, but it’s money and ratings driven like the others and riding on what’s going on. I think Glenn Beck is the only fearless and fully committed one, and he’ll probably suffer for it, but he has his self promoting to do as well.

It’s like Wikipedia, or Google or Yahoo–so called information sources or facilitators, but all with agendas, and obvious as well as subtle slants–all very left.

Even Hannity, promoting this stupid mixed-message “In the real world they’re shutting Detroit down” union chant, and then, although somewhat naively, co-opting the tea party spirit and message with his coverage and turning it into a media event with him as the centerpoint. We gotta be careful.

PS–Didn’t you just LOVE seeing the RINO’s getting shot down and prevented from speaking at the Tea Parties?! That was orgasmic! “Off the bus, freeloaders and phony politicians–it’s time to MOVE!”

The next day, after the show was over and the talking points of the info-mercial were snored over, one scene remained clear. The main stream media was attending its own wake.
The white house press corp was spayed and neutered. Whatever happened to real investigative journalism? The GDP dips 6.1% and no state of the economy questions were asked. The MSM has failed us all. “Better a free press than a free government” is an historical footnote.

I think that the left should be aware of the fact that FNC id broadcast the press conference. Not only did Fox News channel broadcast the Obama press conference but they had a variety of political opinions who were heard after the press conference. Alan Colmmes, Bob Beckle, John Kerry and Geraldo Rivera all came on to offer teir opinions. All three are far left wing political hacks, so the idea that the fox news network only airs conservative opinions is flat wrong. Not one of the network news outlets had a conservative reublican on to respond to Obamas press conference, NOT ONE!! You want to talk fairness lets talk fairness. President Obama had a representative of the FOX network sitting in the front row, the representative who followed him throughout the campaign and he refused to allow him to ask a question. Lets really talk fairness, lets give all sides the opportunity to ask questions. Give me a break, the idea that te FOX network decided to not air the Presidents speech on their most profitable night on television does not mean they are partisan. The fact that the left wing media has aired every single request by the Obama administration to ave a press conference is proof that they are trying hard to to garner support for their president now that they refused to do when Reagan was President and Bush was President.

I figured it out. Remember Seinfeld’s “show about nothing?”
GEORGE: It’s about nothing.
JERRY: No story?
GEORGE: No forget the story.
JERRY: You’ve got to have a story.
GEORGE: Who says you gotta have a story? Remember when we were waiting for, for that table in that Chinese restaurant that time? That could be a TV show.

JERRY: And it’s about nothing?
GEORGE: Absolutely nothing.

That’s The Barrack Obama’s Show. He fills the prime time hours with no substance. What about the result of the stimulus? Nothing. What about putting the next generations in debt? Nothing. What about the impact of cap & trade? Nothing. It’s simply about a shallow and narcissistic character named Obama who cares more about Obama than anyone else. This could be what Rahm and Obama discussed:
OBAMA: It’s about nothing.
RAHM: No American people?
OBAMA: No forget the American people.
RAHM: You’ve got to care for American people.
OBAMA: Who says you gotta care for the American people? Remember when I gave Brown a region 1 DVD or when I bow down to King Abdullah? That could be a TV show.
