We’re STILL waiting. And the jobless rate keeps going up and up. And inflationary trends are beginning to manifest themselves. And my own Governor Ritter passed a passle of money from this ’stimulus’ bill to a crony without having to go through competitive bid process for a government project.

Meanwhile, my wife works for a state-government entity and THEY have to get competitive bids for anything over $100 in price.

Personally?

I think you’re a liar. And a useful fool, to boot.

So people are asking “when do we get the job surge?” I got news for you. We could have had one already if the GOP wasn’t so insistent of $288 billion of the $787 bllion in the American Recovery Act of 2009 going for tax cuts. And if the GOP was so interested in creating jobs, why is it not a single GOP member of Congress voted for the bill? especially when the Deomocrats compromised in a bipartisan manner to incude tax cuts?

And how about a little patience? It took George Bush 8 years to get us into this mess, and this Act has only been in effect for 5 months. Instead it’s all “now now now now now.” Or as in the case of the GOP “no no no no no.”
