BTW, the FAS isn’t. The Left has a different meaning for scientist. To a socialist, ANYONE with an advanced degree is a “Scientist”. In the real world a Scientist is someone who uses the scientific method to explore the Universe. A scientist doesn’t always have an advanced degree. Quite a few scientific advances are made by people doing research for their PhD.
On the other hand, most people employed in the upper echelons of government have an advanced degree.
That is why they are pro-government. What they are not is scientists.
But it sounds better to introduce yourself as a scientist rather then a bureaucrat. I’m almost 70 and I cannot recall anyone EVER introducing them self as a Bureaucrat.
when you research a list of liberal “scientists” you always find that the people on that list are Bureaucrats, Administrators or Professors (Which is a Teacher with a PhD.)
Seldom will you find a scientist.

President Obama, who is truly an empty suit, needs leadership skills to buoy him & find a good direction out of recession; however, Obama is completely incompetent while still trying to remake America into some kind of Communist Collective. Given the high unemployment keeps going up, Obama will be stopped by other self-serving Democrats who want to keep their jobs for the 2010 elections. Taxes & inflation will also play big roles for the Democrats that hurt America thanks to Obama’s obsession to spend us out of a recession with his War on Capitalism.

We have been here before when a peanut farmer from Georgia became President of the United State. President Obama is following in the footsteps of disgraced persona non-grata, Jimmy Carter. Stagflation & the Misery Index are coming back.This is what President Obama has given birth to. Isn’t he special?

Despite the Democrats attempt to rewrite history, the Democrats ignored Jimmy Carter for 20 years before they acknowledged the peanut farmer once more. I believe history will repeat itself moreso than before & the Democrats will be a damaged brand by President Obama’s Marxism.
