I hope we can pass on to our children what a horrible mistake we have made. I guess we won’t really have to pass it on, because they and their children will be paying for this for a long time.
If this will teach us to take a good look at our political leaders, I guess you could say this is a good thing. But the 10 years of hell that some are predicting, will definitely drive the nail home.
Most of the time you can predict future behavior by past behavior. We should have seen through this scum we now call our president from his association with Rev. Wrong and his wife’s rascist attitudes. Yeah Oprah’s rating are tanking too.
Take the children and hide out in the cellar, the fighting has just begun.

Hey, guys, I came to this party kinda late, but I can see that you are missing some things here. Yes, Obama is taking over our country with his big government ideas, yes he is destroying the economy with all the left wing s***t they call environ-mentalists, and yes, he is going to make us vunerable to terrorists by destroying the military. But, and there is a butt, this present administration is more dangerous than his visible policies. He has manged to take control of 90% of all the media that the average person watches and listens to.With that, he has managed to already take control of the financials of the country. Health care is a huge part of the GDP, but the part that is under the wire is Goldman Sachs and the other lending institutions. People we are already screwed. There isn’t going to be a knight on a white horse to come and save us, hey ,I’d take a black knight on a black horse if he was for freedom, there may not be time to stonewall this stuff by waiting until 2010.Do you understand that the government is already setting the prices that you can sell your house for? You’ve heard of comparables? Now the comparables are what the banks can confiscate minus the TARP funding. Then they wholesale the confiscated loot and make windfalls. Owners can’t compete with the government bank practices so we are all screwed. The economy is not going to recover because the govs are with holding any means of recovery. They simply wait until close to 2010 to release just enough stimulus funds to insure a win, then the economy goes back in the tank compliments of the hyper inflation situation that is coming. They will stave that off somewhat until the election, then they can impliment what the conservatives didn’t allow them to do in the first two years. This stuff will be irreversible.

We can thank Opra, Shaun Penn and people we all know are enemies of freedom, but we have to face the fact that the Republican Party isn’t helping us either. Bush went along with some of the Dems stupidity. Then there is George Will who needs to be loved by the social set.Bill Cristol only likes our money; he is embarrassed by our ideas. There is enough blame to go around. Start by understanding that if we don’t elect people that we can count on to stand up to this stupidity, we will never trust our government again. We need to take back education into the competition of the free markets. We have to have TORT reform to change the trial lawyers hold on the medical community’s costs. We have to elect officials that will not creep into the silliness that Vain McCain has drifted into. Anyone want Obama to fail now? Just about anyone who has any sense does, but where were the people in the media, so called Conservatives in media that were willing to stand up and agree to hoping that O’s policies failed. Conservatives have to learn to stand up for what’s right even when we are labled uncool. But look at the bright side..oh yeah, there isn’t one. We just have to do what’s right even while we are being pummeled in the media. We have to deny every illegal that wants us to give them citizenship at the end of a gun barrel and offer to pay for his medical expenses.We have to elect conservatives with a vision, no Mike Huckabee populists, no Gingriches that don’t come through for us.Mitt, get your act together, honey. You have the credentials and nice teeth, but you have to prove you have the balls.

no, she should stop asking everyone else to PAY for the mess that is CA. Maybe put some of those billions of stimulus into actually doing something useful. That would be a “shovel ready” project. LOL

‘Success’. Success in what? My wife and I may have to put a ‘Cap’ on our aspirations of making more money collectively because the have-nots may be entitled to our earnings if the Dems have their way for ‘health insurance reform’? What’s funny about that is the Conservative Dems are up in arms about this sad affair for there IS NO PLAN, though Pelosi is still saying the groundwork will be layed out by August. What?

Success in removing free enterprise from the auto, bank and mortgage industries?

Borrowing over a trillion dollars and not realizing companies who were bequeathed these funds are giving them to CEO’s for a ‘Bang up job’. Now Teleprompter Guy wants that money back? Read the Bills you support, Sir Empty Suit.

I’m trying to fathom the ’success’ the Democrats are supposedly enjoying/ toting.

Sheesh, You’re still drinking the Obama Kool-Aid; Obama is paralleling President Jimmy Carter in every respect; this is not a return to the Great Depression, but a return to the 1970’s malaise & Misery Index. Like Carter, Obama’s programs are making things worse for the private sector–not better. And like Carter, Obama will lose control of the Congress no matter who is running it since Obama is ready to throw the Congressional Democrats under the bus for his Marxist Dreams.

the garbage is floating in the ocean between HA and CA. It is there due to the dumping of the San Fran storm drains into the ocean. None of the material(garbage) is biodegradable.

I assume you mean “between HI (Hawaii) and CA.”

Most municipalities dump their storm drains into rivers or the ocean. Where else could the stormwater runoff from a city the size of San Francisco go?

I’m also not sure why that is supposed to be some kind of indictment of Nancy Pelosi. As far as I know she has no power over what the City of San Francisco does with its stormwater runoff.
