Whichever candidate wins, the drumbeat is that Americans, along with all the other bills and bailouts, will be slated for further sacrifice — not in the name of change, but in the name of stopping “climate change.”
If the aim is — reasonably enough — to look for alternatives to oil, it would be worth disentangling that agenda from the calls for UN and government-backed bureaucracies (the folks who brought us, respectively, Oil-for-Food and subprime mortgages) to regulate and license rights to the atmosphere itself. At the very least, how about a closer look at the credentials behind the “science” and personnel of the bureaucracies now aiming to bleed Americans white in the name of going green. More in my column today on Forbes.com .

1. Dan Winters:Noticed your current piece in Forbes about climate change. Upon reading the article, I checked your credentials. Not surprised to see you have an MA in English Lit given your take on global worming is complete fiction, obviously derived from your need to hold onto a failed ideology in the face of a financial system crumbling based on policies created by bone headed ideologues such as yourself. EVERYONE (even Alan Greenspan admitted that he screwed up by stating Wall St. should govern itself) now sees the right wing’s policies for what they really are now…no need to elaborate.
All I can say is that I, for one, am relieved to see that science deniers will no longer be making any policy decisions. I hope you have plenty of warm clothing, because your side will be left in the cold until you are dead and burried.

Claudia Rosett is certainly entitled to her own opinion. However, she is not entitled to her own facts. Claudia claims that Richard Lindzen is among the “dissenters” of climate change. The fact is Richard Lindzen agrees with the consensus that climate change/global warming is caused by human activity. Lindzen feels that the climate model charts used by the IPCC are more severe than the climate models he believes to be more in tune to the reality of climate change. On the subject of Yvo de Boer, Claudia mislead the reader again. Of course, no American ever voted for him to head the U.N Framework Convention on Climate Change. As she contradicts herself, this is an appointed position. Claudia’s argument should be with the U.N. policy on appointed vs. voted in positions. The U.S.Secretary of State, U.S. supreme court judges, cabinet members, etc; are appointed positions, also not voted in by any American. Get the real point, Claudia?

I’m not quite sure what you’re try to say. But….
There IS no proof that global warming is caused by man! If you were “Goracle” and commanding $175,000 per lecture, would you stop lecturing and continuing w/ your man made hoax? 32,000 scientists also agree. The UN lies once again.
