In the past I have proposed that the UN be sidelined by establishing an international congress of democracies. This would become the de facto leading world body, where all the power would be focused. Some things that do NOT count is that it embodies some type of an ideal of world government, or that it stands for world peace, or that it stands against war and conflict. So I ask you, one of the leading authorities on the UN, this simple question: what has the UN done right, or in what way has it made a positive contribution to humanity?
