That's 137,000 a day. Others are March of Dimes, Human Rights Watch, Amnesty International, and Save the Children!! Yes Save!! I called each one. Rights anyone? No pardon needed, at least in my case -- I found it disgusting and entirely in line with what I've come to expect from the UN. So much so that I didn't bat an eye when I saw it. So which is more appalling: the response of Mr. de Alba (the UN Human Rights Council's president) to Mr. Neuer's truthful remarks, or my own unthinking, reflexive acceptance that this is merely more "business as usual?" It seems I've become far more cynical than I ever imagined I could be. I have seen this. No pardon needed, at least in my case — I found it disgusting and entirely in line with what I’ve come to expect from the UN. So much so that I didn’t bat an eye when I saw it.
