“Barack the wealth spreader,” Look at this graph – http://zfacts.com/p/318.html. Ask these questions. Which administrations have borrowed the most money between 1980 and now? When they spent the money, who got it?

It looks to me like Palin, McCain and their friends in the Republican party have spread more wealth than ANY group of Democrats, ever. None of it has gone to benefit the common man. Maybe your taxes have stayed flat, but your kids schools suck, you’re paying more in healthcare than your parents did, and you can’t get a decent job because America is not investing in making America better. It’s been engaging in Socialism for the Wealthy. You’ve been had.

Bloody amazing the alacrity with which dirt or alleged dirt was dug up on Joe the Plumber. He’s not a licensed plumber, he’s got a tax lien, he’s got a connection (gasp) to Charles Keating, and must be a rethug shill planted to embarass Obama. Apparently the army ants of progressive politics can run a background check faster than you can say ‘the politics of personal destruction.’

Claudia, this is one of your very best posts — and that says a lot.

FWIW — Allahpundit at HotAir has posted a great video interview in which Joe the Plumber shows his salt-of-the-earth qualities. http://tinyurl.com/3pewbx

He’s poised, unpretentious, articulate, unafraid and knows who and what he is. Note in particular how he deals with the reporter who tries to tie him to some fringe group.

The point of Joe is that no matter what Joe’s situation is nor what it could be, he could be a cartoon character at this point. Joe has become a metaphor for exactly the type of ‘target’ Obama has in his sights. There are millions of Joes out here. We are blue collar, white collare, high school educated and holders of MBAs.

Joe was able to extract the very words out of Obama that the Republicans have been attempting to iconize as his true image…. an elite, don’t give a dang liberal who wants all your “excess” money to redistribute, his way.

For Obama to then attmept to point at Warren Buffett as a brush off just shows exactly how either out of touch he is or how ‘be damned’ he is to destroy the new middle class (who he, and his church snub) in the name of transfering wealth.
