Whine, whine, whine. Hillary was elected by the people of new york. They didn’t care that she was not from the state. She pleased them and six years later they re-elected her because they were happy with her. It is the right of the new yorkers to do this. Caroline is perhaps another story. In this particularly strange case, the law gives the unelected governor the right to appoint anyone he $*@! well pleases. Of course if he appoints an idiot, he certainly won’t get his position renewed. And if said idiot does a bad job, she won’t get her position renewed either. But this is the process, and no amount of whining about it is going to make a difference. So get over it. New yorkers will get their day at the ballot box to set things right.

So what are you trying to prove with this commentary? — that new yorkers are all morons? In fact, the electorate of all states are morons. Please tell me something I don’t know.

Sweet Caroline brings nothing to the senate except name recognition and the possibility of raising money because of her name recognition. Sweet Caroline has no interest or contact with regular, normal Americans; you know, the people who get up early, work 8 or 10 hours, go home cook dinner look after the kids and go to bed early so they can do it all over again the next day. Sweet Caroline is as phony as her hero Obama.

I think the “Banana Republic of New York” is necessary counter the “Racist South” and the “Inbred Appalachians.” It always struck me as ironic that the most heavily red states were also the most backwards.

I have no idea why anyone would be shocked at this. This is just an extension of the democratic way of doing things for the elite. NY deserves what they get as far as I am concerned. No wonder the Senate is so screwed up. Pretty soon, they will vote themselves “senator for life” and do away with the pretense of elections.
