I Think That’s Why She Called It “Capitalism: The Unknown Ideal”

I think we can safely say that whatever he learned as a young Objectivist, Alan Greenspan isn’t paying much attention to Ayn Rand’s philosophy these days. Maybe he’s worried about being demonized as a “Proud Father of Global Misery” by the same people who think that global misery is actually a pretty cool idea.

Alan Greenspan is married to Andrea Mitchell. That’s probably all you need to know. He is far too worried about being invited to the elite parties held in New York City and Washington, DC. Greenspan is anxious to prove how much he has intellectual grown since his Ayn Rand days.

Oh, the “undertaker” (as Rand used to dub him) sure has grown, all right.

All I needed to know was seeing him sitting next to Hillary Clinton during one of her husband’s State of the Union addresses in the early 90s.

Greenspan is still an Objectivist like Repubs still believe in free markets: when called on it are slightly embarrassed and tend to disown it when it doesn’t suit them.
