Buyers’ Remorse Sets In

With the Dow plunging to new lows, as Glenn Reynolds recently noted, buyers’ remorse on Wall Street is beginning to set in:

“Noteworthy up here on Wall Street, a great many Obama supporters — especially hedge-fund types who voted for ‘change’ — are becoming disillusioned with the performances of Obama and Treasury man Geithner. There is a growing sense of buyer’s remorse.”

As Glenn writes, “Problem is, they only thought they were buyers. Actually, they were renters, and the lease is up.” Meanwhile, the Anchoress spots two more disparate entities feeling more than a little dispirited by The One:

“Catholics for Obama” may very soon come to feel they’ve been played by Obama, pretty much as Martin Peretz is beginning to feel…or discover.

And finally, with Christopher Buckley apparently “surprised to find the guy he voted for is, in fact, a statist liberal”, Allahpundit is taking bets for the next GOP pundit to come in from the cold, and expects it to be Bobo Number One. “Welcome home, David!”, The Big A writes, but I’m not sure if Stacy McCain will be as quick to welcome back Brooks.
