Maybe Nora Was Onto Something

In April of 2008, a number of conservative bloggers and pundts looked rather askance at writer/director Nora Ephron’s comments at the Huffington Post about the Democrats’ bruising Pennsylvania primary battle between then-Senators Hillary Clinton and Barack Obama. As Jennifer Rubin wrote back then:

The Left is losing it. Not the election. Just any semblance of sanity. From one Barack Obama fan we learn, “This is an election about whether the people of Pennsylvania hate blacks more than they hate women.” And these are Democrats, mind you.

On the other hand, perhaps Nora had a point, if the allegations at the heart of this story are indeed true.

Update: More from Moe Lane, cross-posted on his blog and at Red State.
