When Journalists Attack!

Don Surber smells a Pulitzer in the making. I say, why think small? Nobel Peace Prize, baby:

Republican Congressman Connie Mack sent out a press release on Sept. 8. His flack received this reply from John Guerra, a reporter for the Key West Citizen in Florida:

“The Republican Party is now a mentally ill group of people who want nothing more than to destroy Obama’s first term no matter how much the country needs his policies. I despise your party’s activities and the hatred you spew on Fox and other sounding boards for the insurance companies. Please don’t you dare get him killed, which is the underlying goal of you right wing nuts.”

Via Big Government, which noted: “We have reached out to Mr. Guerra for his version of events. No comment yet, but we will keep you posted if we hear anything.”

Here are some earlier examples of pacifistic journalists seeking to bridge the national divide:

Blessed are the peacemaking pundits…

Illinois has recently seen Steven Guerra fired from State government post. A Blogojevic hire,hHis sponsor is Rep Luis Guiterrez(D- Prop Tax Dodge,Il). Guerra did federal prison time for FALN related murder and mayhem, currently at large. Let’s hope has hasn’t found a place with Obama.

About Joe Klein’s meltdown. I get the feeling that Klein has no idea what sedition really is. Sedition is not reporting on things that causes the administration’s agenda to fail. Sedition is the act of creating a revolt or insurrection to overthrow or destroy the government. Under the Smith Act, one actually has to advocate and plan the overthrow of the United States Government in order to be charged with sedition. To him and his fellow travelers, its a way to brand anyone who is disloyal to The One.

I left a comment with the Key West paper asking if they’re all insane or if it’s just one reporter. I’m not expecting an answer. Maybe if enough folks write asking the same question though, someone on staff will ask what’s going on to provoke the question in the first place. My guess is that they’ve got a recent grad. from a community college journalism programme doing his first professional gig. It might not be too late to shake him up some.

And here’s Mr. Guerra’s email as well: jguerra@keysnews.com

I sent an email to Mr. Guerra, and a separate email to the editor and to the publisher. Nothing mean or nasty, just letting them know they hadn’t come off very well in the exchange.

Did you all notice the NPR commentator who compared Obama’s play on Fox news with Nixon and company?

Like the legions in communist China in the sixties who were deemed “capitalists roaders” he had to pubically recant his sin.

After all, this is NPR.

In another year Guerra will be freelancing for an inner-city street paper and greeting customers at Walmart five hours a day for hard cash. He knows this and is hoping that by going hyperbolic somebody will notice him and offer him a better paying gig. I’m sure those guys stalking Limbaugh for Soros eventually burn out (or come to the conclusion that Limbaugh is right) and have to be replaced.

Interesting how in the Soviet Union, a desire for liberty and resistance to the State were also classified as signs of “mental illness.”

Another Democrat mouthpiece has his say. Nothing new here, just more BS from a far left Kool-Aid drinking racist.

I’m still waiting for a Liberal to explain why a desire by Conservatives for smaller government, lower taxes, more liberty and an adherence to the Constitution are “extreme”, “fringe” positions.

I guess Guerra hasn’t read the bill that will make public health care administered by his hated insurance companies. But I guess that’s to be expected from someone of the left: led by fear and hatred.

For those unfamiliar with the “Key West Kulture”, it is San Francisco East. Friends who have visited the place come home stunned by the open and flagrant displays of what was once referred to as “perversion”. You need to understand Mr. Guerra (and his views) fit Key West just like a…well, I guess like a condom.

It boggles my mind that main street News – ABC – NBC – CBS are not reporting the news. All we get is their opinions of what is happening.

Now that we have become digital Fox News should expand their News to over the air. ABC – NBC – CBS would cease to exist.

There is not one news commentator that I trust not to “spin” the news instead of just giving the news to the masses.

I haven’t heard the “mentally ill” routine since the collapse of the Soviet Union. Disagree with their policies and you were sent to a mental institution.

It’s comments from “liberals” like John that most concern me, considering they are the ones currently in power.

Oct 26, 2009 - 11:13 am 23. La prensa se quita los guantes III:

[...] Para hacer la historia corta: Un republicano y un periodista. El congresista republicano Connie Mack le envía un comunicado de prensa a los medios el periodista John Guerra del Key West Citizen in Florida le responde:“The Republican Party is now a mentally ill group of people who want nothing more than to destroy Obama’s first term no matter how much the country needs his policies. I despise your party’s activities and the hatred you spew on Fox and other sounding boards for the insurance companies. Fuente:Ed Driscoll » When Journalists Attack! – pajamasmedia.com [...]
