Congrats on the new spot. Great to hear you had a good time in Alaska. And I am waiting for the new book. When will it be released?

Congrats on your new place of work. I'm sure AEI was sorry to see you leave. I'm sorry I missed the Alaska trip as I haven't attended one of your classes since, say, [dates omitted]. But I digress.

Did you know that your latest appearance with Dennis Prager was interrupted by a "glitch" for quite a while? You were making some interesting points about Russia's influence over Iran, then...silence followed by a replay from an earlier show. Your fans want to know what you said while you were off the air.

Michael,
Glad to have heard that you and your wife had a fine time up here. I hope the sky was clear enough to see some of the mountain tops. In Juneau, we haven't had very much nice weather this summer at all. As a matter of fact, a couple of long-term locals (I've been here 5 years) swear they have never experienced a more sun-free, cooler summer than this one. Very wet too, like today.
Oh, well. Back to the grind. I'm wondering what you think the Mullahs are doing while Georgia burns?

Micheal:

Congrats on your new location, I agree, the new email address fits perfectly.
Happy to hear Barbara can still catch the big fish, save us a bite.

Aloha from Camp Siracusa

PS As you might imagine, the islands are so excited that BO is arriving today!

You should have gone fishing too! I need to clarify this: “The state capital is Juneau, which has the highest concentration of bars I have ever seen.”

Uhm… It sounds like while you were in Madison, you did not drive to the east side of Milwaukee, like E. Brady St., to count so many bars on both sides of the street for 3/4 of a mile! And there are tons of other bars all over the city. So this honor goes to Milwaukee!

My grandfather worked as a missionary for the Board of National Missions of the Presbyterian Church. Lived in New York City but spent months every year traveling throughout the state of Alaska. This was back in the 1930s, 1940s, and 1950s, when everything was much harder and more dangerous. A big supporter of Sheldon Jackson College in Sitka, now in financial trouble, with operations suspended. A missionary boat named after my grandmother traveled up and down the Alaskan coast bringing supplies, offering remedial health care, and teaching Sunday School. I've never been ... and so am jealous.
